  ### 3. Feature-Rich and Flexible, But Steep Learning Curve and Complex Pricing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Amazon EC2?**

The flexibility and sheer number of features (Number of Features) offered by EC2 are its greatest strengths. I can quickly provision and deploy an instance tailored exactly to my workload requirements, choosing from numerous instance types and Amazon Machine Images (AMIs). The Ease of Implementation for new environments is outstanding, and the 'pay-as-you-go' pricing model offers excellent cost control for dynamic needs.

**What do you dislike about Amazon EC2?**

While powerful, the EC2 console can feel overwhelming and is not built for beginner-level users; the learning curve is steep. The overall Ease of Use and understanding of the platform is not always intuitive due to the complexity and volume of integrated services. Additionally, the pricing structure can be confusing, and standard Customer Support could be more responsive for non-enterprise accounts.

**What problems is Amazon EC2 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amazon EC2 fundamentally solves the problem of slow and expensive on-premise infrastructure provisioning. It allows us to rapidly scale and deploy new application environments and testing servers within minutes, rather than weeks. This flexibility significantly reduces our time-to-market for new features and projects. It also helps us manage costs by letting us scale down or shut off resources when not in use (pay-as-you-go model), ensuring we only pay for the capacity we actually consume.

  ### 4. Effortless Scalability Makes EC2 a Standout Choice

**What do you like best about Amazon EC2?**

It has been studying expertise working with AWS Cloud. After I began, it was a little bit overwhelming for me with so many bits working collectively. Now that I have a grasp on it, I can simply deploy highly effective error-free stacks from the AWS market error-free.
Scaling up! It is really easy to scale up and scale down your EC2 occasion relying upon your requirement at any explicit time. This protects your prices hourly and in the long term.

**What do you dislike about Amazon EC2?**

Not a lot is flawed with CloudFormation on AWS. Nevertheless, it isn't straightforward for a first-time no-code builder to deploy an error-free stack. It's a must to know what you're doing when deploying a stack or updating it! As a no-code builder like myself, I made many errors organising my first stack. So please watch tutorials and undergo sufficient studying materials and equip yourself to deploy your stack accurately.

**Recommendations to others considering Amazon EC2:**

I am both a customer and an end-user. We employ a variety of deployment methods, including on-premises, public, private, and hybrid clouds. The deployment is determined by the customer, the solution, and the service level agreements in place. All of those models are used by us. We base our decision on the requirements. I would suggest potential new users conduct a shootout between the various solutions based on their use case and select the best one. I'd give the solution a seven out of 10. I'd give it a better rating, but the user interface has to be improved first.

**What problems is Amazon EC2 solving and how is that benefiting you?**
