What I like most about Amazon CloudWatch is its user-friendly UI, and easy to setup. It provide not only to monitoring our cloud infrastructure but also it provides to intregrate with other aws resources. That attracts me to it use everyday. Almost all the aws services integrate with cloudwatch, where we can store the logs of the resources under a log group.

The best part is cloudwatch provides monitoring features like metrics, alarms, log querying etc..

To get custom metrics and logs from EC2 instances, users need to install and configure the CloudWatch agent on each instance manually that is bit time consuming Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

CloudWatch was good but they didn't provide any update that could be helpful last year. They have a good dashboard to follow your usage but poor documentation or features to provide any new solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With no updates, other solutions are becoming better than CloudWatch. Plus, we have the price that increases a lot while we need to output some data for other tools consuming that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most amazing feature of cloud watch is that it can be integrated with any of the AWS native services easily. The logs can then be redirected to solutions like Kobayashi for analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The graph feature which comes with the cloud watch events is very slow. It takes immense time to load basically due to the large data size.Need improvement in processing there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
