"Effortless Meetings with Smart Features and Crystal Clear Audio"
What do you like best about Amazon Chime?

1. The "Call Me" Reliability

Unlike other platforms where you have to hunt for a link in your calendar or wait for a meeting ID, Chime literally calls you on all your devices when a meeting starts.

Why it's great: You just tap "Answer" on your phone or desktop, and you’re in. It eliminates that 2-minute "Where is the link?" panic at the start of every call.

2. The "Running Late" Button

This is a small but incredibly thoughtful feature. If you’re stuck in another meeting or grabing coffee, you can tap "Running Late" from the notification.

Why it's great: It automatically posts a message to the meeting roster letting everyone know you'll be there in a few minutes. It’s much more professional than just being a "no-show" for the first five minutes.

3. "Pay-as-you-go" Pricing (From an Admin/Budget Perspective)

Even though I use it as an end-user, I appreciate that my company isn't paying for a flat "Pro" license for everyone every month.

Why it's great: If I don't host a meeting for a week, the company isn't billed for a Pro license for me that week. It makes the tool feel less wasteful than competitors.

4. Crystal Clear Audio (Noise Suppression)

The background noise cancellation is surprisingly robust. I’ve taken calls in busy coffee shops or with a dog barking in the background, and the "Visual Roster" usually detects and mutes the background noise or filters it out before others hear it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?

Outdated UI: The interface feels utilitarian and lacks the modern, polished look of its competitors.

Chat Limitations: In-meeting chat history can be difficult to retrieve or disappears once the meeting ends.

Basic Feature Set: It lacks "engagement" tools like native polls, advanced breakout rooms, and high-quality virtual backgrounds.

Ecosystem Lock-in: It works best within AWS; syncing with non-Amazon tools or calendars can occasionally be clunky. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Chime Easy-to-Use, Feature-Rich Communication Tool"
What do you like best about Amazon Chime?

Amazon chime is a unified communication service for online meetings, at dell we are partnered with Amazon and we use AWS, Chime is easy to use, has better features than zoom Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?

the free basic version of Amazon Chime is not a good one, I understand its free but should be better than others. Also we use it with Dell WH 125 headsets which doesn't have an option to accept , end and reject auto call. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Tool for Professional Team Communication"
What do you like best about Amazon Chime?

I like Amazon Chime because it's easy and dependable. I can jump into meetings without any hassle, and the audio and video are generally clear, which keeps communication professional, secure, and reliable. I love how it lets me stay connected with my team through online meetings and video calls. The screen sharing just works, and it helps me work smoothly with remote teammates, keeping conversations clear and saving time. Getting started with Amazon Chime was fairly easy and didn’t take much time, so I was able to join meetings almost right away. I also appreciate that it's simple and uncomplicated, allowing me to stay focused on discussions without worrying about technical issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?

While Amazon Chime gets the basics right, there are a few areas where it feels a bit behind. The interface is fairly plain and can feel limited compared to more modern meeting tools, and I sometimes miss having deeper chat features, more integrations, or better customization options. For larger or more interactive meetings, it can also feel a little restrictive, which makes the overall experience less polished than it could be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Smooth, Reliable, and Focused Communication"
What do you like best about Amazon Chime?

I really appreciate how Amazon Chime provides a calm, dependable communication space where work conversations can happen without friction or noise. It doesn't feel like just another chat or meeting app; instead, it offers a professional workspace that keeps discussions intentional and well-structured. I love how Chime supports a more disciplined communication flow, where people join on time, conversations stay focused, and meetings feel purposeful. It's designed well for those who prefer straightforward and clutter-free communication. The stable audio and video quality during longer calls help me maintain focus and reduce mental fatigue. I also enjoy the easy scheduling, quick join links, and smooth screen sharing that make collaboration feel natural rather than forced, contributing to a professional tone that encourages more structured and productive discussions. The initial setup was straightforward, allowing me to join meetings quickly from both desktop and mobile without complicated configuration. Overall, it seamlessly fits into my workflow, boosting my confidence that meetings will run smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?

While Amazon Chime is generally reliable, there are a few areas that don’t work as smoothly for me and could definitely be improved. The user interface sometimes feels a bit plain and less intuitive compared to newer collaboration tools, which can make certain settings or features harder to find quickly, especially for first-time users. I’ve also noticed that customization options are fairly limited, whether it’s adjusting layouts, notifications, or personal preferences, which makes the experience feel somewhat rigid. Occasionally, audio or video quality can dip when network conditions aren’t ideal, and the app doesn’t always provide clear feedback on what’s causing the issue. Additionally, integration with non-AWS tools could be deeper and more seamless, as switching between platforms can interrupt workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazon Chime is one of the best secure communication tools out there."
What do you like best about Amazon Chime?

Amazon Chime stands out for its strong security, user-friendly design, and versatility as a comprehensive communication platform that supports meetings, chat, and calls. I appreciate the clear audio and video quality, as well as the smooth integration with AWS services. The interface is intuitive, making it easy to manage both meetings and messaging within a single application. It works well for internal company communication and is also highly effective for remote collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?

Amazon Chime is impressive, but there is room for improvement in its limited advanced features, occasional bugs, and an interface that some users consider outdated. Despite these issues, I find that the overall features are good and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable and Cost-Effective Communication Tool"
What do you like best about Amazon Chime?

I like how Amazon Chime tackles the small, annoying points of friction that usually plague virtual meetings. It's not about having flashy features but about being reliable and cost-effective. I appreciate the technical reliability and cost-efficiency, which cater to 'power users' like me. Its logic and operational efficiency stand out, making it a 'working person's' tool. Also, I value how well it connects with other technical tools since it's an AWS service, making it more than just a standalone app. Lastly, the initial setup was very easy, which was a great start. What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?

While Amazon Chime is a powerful 'utility' tool, it has several limitations that can make it feel frustrating compared to more modern, 'feature-rich' platforms like Zoom or Microsoft Teams. While Amazon Chime is excellent for basic, reliable communication, it does have some noticeable gaps—especially when compared to the fast-moving ecosystems of Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet. What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?

It’s not as widely adopted as competitors, the interface feels basic, and features/integrations can be limited compared to other collaboration tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Mobile-Friendly, Yet Facing Future Uncertainty"
What do you like best about Amazon Chime?

I like how easy Amazon Chime is to use across different platforms. You can use it on a computer, laptop, tablet, or phone, which makes it really helpful. It's especially useful if you're out of the office because you can communicate anywhere and everywhere. I also appreciate the mobility it offers, like attending meetings, sending messages, and responding to chats from anywhere. Additionally, the initial setup was very straightforward, with no challenges at all. Setting up users and permissions was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?

I saw a few months ago that support for Amazon Chime would be deprecated by Amazon. So the application can be improved, but if the support will not be there anymore, it will not be improved by Amazon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplifies Team Communication, Needs Mobile Optimization"
What do you like best about Amazon Chime?

I really appreciate Amazon Chime for its integration of multiple essential functionalities for work communication in a single platform. It's incredibly convenient to be able to switch seamlessly between chatting, calling, and screen sharing without needing separate links or tools, especially when a quick chat escalates into a more detailed discussion requiring immediate screen sharing or assistance. The user interface is notably friendly, which enhances the overall user experience. Additionally, I find the ability to jump straight into a call from a chat or calendar invite extremely useful, particularly for technical reviews or troubleshooting scenarios. The setup process was also smooth and hassle-free, adding to the overall appeal of using Amazon Chime for seamless communication and collaboration with my team and clients. Its integration with AWS support projects further showcases its utility in a professional setting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?

I find the mobile experience of Amazon Chime lacking. Specifically, I believe there is a need for better optimization of screen sharing and video calls when using the service on mobile devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Smooth, Reliable Calls with Room for a More Modern Interface"
What do you like best about Amazon Chime?

I used Amazon Chime during an interview, and I really liked how smooth and reliable the video and audio quality were. The interface was simple, easy to navigate, and the joining process was seamless — it made the experience stress-free and professional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?

There wasn’t much to dislike, but I noticed that Amazon Chime could improve its user interface to make it a bit more modern and intuitive. Also, having a web version with fewer download requirements would make it even more convenient for quick meetings or interviews. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
