Maintanence is also low. It's pricing is also low based on the query execution so it costs much less and according to the execution done. It's fast for query execution too once added in the S3 as there is no need to set up servers and defining clusters. A whole set of complex analysis can also be carried out in AWS Athena which includes joins, arrays, etc. It really helps in analysis of all sort of data such as Unstructured or Semi structured. All the data formats such as Csv, Json, etc. are supported by Athena. Overall a great tool to work with working on cloud with cheap rates. **What do you dislike about Amazon Athena?** External tables are required in order to work with Athena and also all DDLs are also not supported.We cannot define our own functions in Athena need to use the one specified by Amazon. You can run queries in the cloud with low latency. But they can improve their query error message. Every time if something wrong in the query you will not see which components have errors. You will see only the error message. **What problems is Amazon Athena solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have more than 10k queries excel files in s3 and each excel file has 30-50 queries to run each manually is a time taking and difficult choice. With the help of Athena client and python SDK, we are doing it within 1 minute. ### 40.
