As a BDR, I'm always looking for ways to cut through the noise that executives receive on a daily basis (emails, cold calls, etc.). Alyce is a great way to do that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
UI could be a little better but overall it's a great platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Alyce is super easy and simple to set up and implement specific campaigns. Everything can be customized and personalized. The AI feature is great to offer the 'right' gift or they can switch it out for something of their choice! The marketplace is great with amazing options. I love its available across US and Canada. Can also integrate with our calendar and email. We've had a lot of success using the tool to get meetings booked. The Alyce team is great to work with, they take the time to ensure the team is set up and trained for successful campaigns! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Does take some to get use to but once you get it, its super easy! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We like the gifting model that Alyce uses. Having a large gift catalog and intelligence support in choosing the right gifts makes things low maintenance for us. Meanwhile, an easy, attractive experience makes things enjoyable and exciting for the recipients.
Our success team has also been a delight to work with -- extremely knowledgable and ready with plenty of ideas and information about how to leverage the power of the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Looking forward to better HubSpot Integration. Manual transfer of information has really only been a minor blocker for us. The bigger consequence of not having a direct integration is just that it makes properly representing the full ROI more difficult. Adding Alyce to our sales & marketing tech stack has been successful, but it's actually been even more successful than the current conservative, direct-observation conversion methodology demonstrates. Our experience with Alyce has been nothing other than wonderful. We currently use Alyce as part of our ABM program, using the 1:1 gifting as a way to build personal relationship with prospects. The tool is easy to use and integrates with our marketing automation and CRM tools so our sales team can track activities and get alerts when gifts are accepted. The Alyce team was super helpful during the implementation process and have been an integral part of our success - providing ideas on upcoming campaigns and insights into how to get the most of our investment. There isn't much I dislike about tool. I wish there was more customization available to look and feel of landing pages and other assets. I think it would also be helpful if our team could send Alyce gifts directly from our CRM without having to login to the Alyce platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Alyce makes business development prospecting a thoughtful approach. Nothing like having a great conversation and following it up with an Alyce gift. My favorite thing on the marketplace is "choose your own charity." The world is so chaotic- a little good goes a long way. Alyce allows us to get to know your prospects and I enjoy how they do the research for you. It is an easy to use sales tool and we have had amazing results. I strongly recommend Alyce for companies looking to go the extra mile. Alyce has great customer service and our rep (Ally) is the best! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the new layout and integration with Salesforce. Alyce makes BetterUp different than other vendors, and I take pride in that. One area I would like to see improve is more affordable college appeal, gifts for children or new parents, and ideally BetterUp or company branded choices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the flexibility of being able to have assistance from the Alyce platform on researching prospects to give gifts. It is also awesome to be able to give gifts off the extensive marketplace. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the research doesn't turn up too much. Alyce will then recommend the same 3 gifts of a essential oil vaporizer, a portable speaker, and a gift card. There is also a lack of school merchandise to send. Sending something with someone's school logo is an easy way to build at least some sort of personalization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that Alyce is constantly refreshing their selection of gifts. There are lots of unique gifts for different interests and hobbies. The variety as well as the seasonal options make it easy to use the platform to customize for a prospect or allow them to select their own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the research function is really great but sometimes there just isn't enough info to be found when offering suggestions for what to give your prospects. It might be helpful to showcase which gifts are converting the most as an alternative when there aren't enough gifts recommended via research if someone's internet presence is low. I switched over to Alyce from Sendoso—namely for the core shift in how the platform functions. I really appreciate that Alyce is built on the idea of paying for what's actually claimed vs. paying for every send and hoping it works. We've been able to significantly improve our spend on direct mail, and in the first month, the impact has already been noticeable. Especially in a world where you don't know where someone's working from at the moment, Alyce was built on the idea of giving the recipient choice—both on the gift they receive and where it gets sent. It's apparent that they've thought this through, and I think it's put them in a uniquely beneficial position given all that 2020 has thrown at us. Thanks to the research the platform does on your behalf, you can rest easy knowing that what you send is going to be a hit. I really like that (and our recipients have, too!).
Another pro that I think deserves airtime: the people. Alyce has phenomenal folks on staff that take the time to check in with you, make sure you have a plan for using the software, etc. Everyone I've had the pleasure of working with, from sales to success to marketing, has been super friendly and genuinely interested in what we do. I never really had that with our prior vendor—any attention paid to our account was episodic or around renewal time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, I don't have much I've found that I don't like right now aside from minor UI things (being able to delete campaigns, users; maybe some improvements to campaign setup process... but I will say even that is a massive improvement over Sendoso's backend). Alyce is a great tool for connecting prospects with our Sales team. I am able to send personalized gifts to interested leads in order to get them to book a meeting with Webroot. I like the ease of using the platform itself, it is straightforward and simple. And with the Alyce Activate feature, you can use Alyce in more creative ways to support Marketing, such as boosting webinar attendance, entice trialing of products and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think what doesn't work for me involves the Activate feature. If you do not have the Marketo integration, the flow becomes much more manual and not quite as easy for the user (me!). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Upsides
-super easy to use
-integrations with many existing tools (SFDC, Marketo, etc.)
-it's fun to give gifts
-the research is valuable re: likes/schools/etc and helps sales craft a relevant message
-customer success manager is awesome resource & support is quick Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Downsides:
-still early in product development and missing some features like the ability to mass create templates & campaigns, as well as insert hyperlinks/attachments in the outreach
-unable to delete users/campaigns or edit contact info once uploaded Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Personalized gifts rather than mass marketing
Inside Sales can send gifts as if from the Account Executive which creates efficiencies
Easy campaign setup and automated follow-up
Ability to set gift limits, per rep and in general by price limit
VERY responsive customer success reps and regular meetings
Excellent marketing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unable to send $5 gift card appointment reminders like other vendors
Cannot price out per campaign for a true ROI, only everything combined together or split by email versus Sleek Box
I believe we would see better ROI if the gifts were sent after the appointment took place vs. ahead of time.
Support directs to Zendesk, which isn’t easy to login or navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Alyce is such an amazing prospecting tool. As we focus on account based marketing, it is really important we stand out amongst our competitors, and by sending a personalized gift we kick off the relationship by really letting the prospect know we care about them and are looking out for them and their needs. We never want to be generic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Only thing that can be frustrating is sometime individuals accept the gift, then do not show up for the meeting. If there was a way to make it so the gift came after the meeting to eliminate this, would be great. Never want to be taken advantage of! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Alyce makes it easy to set additional meetings with prospect accounts via sending gifts. Their AI engine easily scans social network accounts to predict which gift is best suited for each individual. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The permission side of things - leadership will set the specific fields a prospect must provide in order to be able to accept the meeting (i.e. phone number, email etc.) - sometimes I already have those pieces of info and don't need them. The other area I dislike is that there is no option to just send a gift without having to schedule a meeting - sometimes I just want to send a "Thank You" to one of my accounts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the quality of the gifts. They are gifts that I would personally want for myself so it's easy for a prospect to accept because who wouldn't want one of the gifts. I've also targeted only prospects who I know will be a good fit so if they do accept I know I'll at least get some time with them even if it was just for a free gift. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike how long it takes to get the Genius. Lately, I've been using a few gifts that I like the most instead of waiting for the Genius. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Alyce allows me to send unique gifts and emails to customers or prospects I am hoping to connect with. I have successfully used it for cold openings, reengaging those that went dark, and even as an apology to a dissatisfied customer. I have never had someone upset over an Alyce gift. If their company does not allow gift acceptance, they can donate the amount to a charity of their choice. I would recommend Alyce to anyone who uses it for customer engagement, prospect engagement, and customer success/service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there were more analytics regarding when gifts are opened/accepted, if there is a correlation between pending gifts and booking meetings, or anything else other than just how many I sent and how many were accepted. The automated email can sometimes be filtered as spam. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that Alyce provides me suggestions on personalized gift options but also allows me to personalize it myself with my own research. The personalized gifts along with a personalized message to my prospects is a great ice breaker. Prospects seem happy and thankful, comment on what a nice and fun way to stand out, great way to start the relationship off on the right foot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be nice to be able to send custom follow up messages and communication after the initial gift offer is sent out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Alyce makes it easy to send unique and high end gifts to cold leads to 1. get their attention 2. get them excited 3. get them interested. I've had a lot of luck sending Alyce gifts to leads and have set 30+ meetings in the last 2.5 months since starting at this company. The tool is easy to use and I like being able to customize the messaging based on who I am sending the gift to. Would highly recommend for any sales organization looking for a new and exciting way to engage with leads. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish I could filter easily by gifts queued up and ready to be sent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the one stop shopping for appropriate gifts / swag to send out within a sales cycle. Lots of choices and price ranges. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I feel this is better suited to an existing client base. As a thank you for continued business, for additional business, for renewing contracts. Was told it was equally successful for new logo pursuits but haven't found a larger enough return for the effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ease to use, using the 1:1 gifting as a way to build personal relationship with prospects. The tool is easy to use and integrates with our marketing automation and CRM tools so our sales team can track activities and get alerts when gifts are accepted Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
wish there was more customization available to look and feel of landing pages and other assetsAlyce will then recommend the same 3 gifts again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love giving gifts with Alyce - whether it's in working to get a meeting with my target accounts or just sending a gift to a current customer to let them know I am thinking of them, Alyce has helped me build a super strong connection with so many awesome folks. Alyce is memorable and that's what I love most about it! Alyce is one of my favorite tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the product, but I wish I could save lists of my favorite gifts, have more options when searching specific categories like college swag or flowers, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ease of use, both for sending personalized gifts or choosing your own. Prospect immediately gets email that is easy to understand what the gift is, who it's from etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's difficult to find what has been sent to a prospect in the past. There have been times when I was not sure if something was sent, ended up finding 2 gifts had been sent but could not see who it was sent by, when it was sent or what was send. Easier dashboard here to view past gifts to specific prospects would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I enjoy how Alyce helps figure out a creative gift for the prospect and is very easy to use. It's a great way to get a meeting with a prospect and stand out from other sales reps out there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have not found anything that I do not like about Alyce... Maybe finding the right gift for the prospect a little faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When giving gifts, I used to have to do really serious research to find what my prospects wanted, where I could send the gift to, etc. Since using Alyce, I'v really liked the ease of having gift suggestions based on Alyce's research and the ability to quickly and efficiently send out my gifts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish the platform was a bit simpler and intuitive to use. Sometimes it takes me a while to figure out simple things. However, once you know where to look, it's pretty easy to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user interface is fluid and easy to navigate. Importing contacts from Salesforce is easy and makes my job a lot easier as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isn't anything to dislike about this service, it is a very fluid platform and Alyce is always making improvements which says alot about the company Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
