We now have a clear overview of the devices we have, who is responsible for them, and the software running on our computers. The best thing about this software is how much time it has saved us. Agent detection and integration with Intune do most of the work for us, no need to work manually. We can better predict the budget needed and also fill in security gaps. We've also started optimizing licenses, which was completely impossible with just incomplete spreadsheets. We used spreadsheets and an additional detection tool, but the IT team forgot to update the records in the spreadsheets and with the increasing number of users the situation became unbearable. Configuration offers a lot of options. If there's a scenario that I can't finish with standard configuration there's a standardized library to write customizations that are well maintained. I don't need to worry about software upgrades. The UX is very good. It might look complex at first but it offers me an ability to create custom views with filters for specific objects, properties, etc. These things helped me to "sell" Alvao to other departments within the company. For instance it's maintenance, facility, administration. The UX is friendly for non-IT users as well. We can also integrate Alvao with other systems such as ERP.
