I STRONGLY dislike the fact there is not one single format and the use has to constantly "add" different categories. There have been several times that significant information has been missed simply because there is not place to enter data from the get go. The use has to add a category and then chart. I like being able to view the labs, notes, and records all in one application. It's a convenient tool in theory for this purpose...however, most of the time, Allscripts crashes because it is so old and becomes overwhelmed by multiple tabs being opened. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Allscripts EHR does not allow for whole-hospital system access. At my site, there are multiple buildings, physician offices, and departments...but we are not able to see anything from essentially any other department for a patient who comes in. Additionally, I am involved in research and clinical trials. Allscripts does not allow for any errors or mistakes! It does not let you backtrack when you are trying to input a lab order or want to amend an order...

Lastly, Allscripts EHR crashes MULTIPLE times a day...this is truly just unacceptable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Software was very easy to use and I liked the user interface which makes it so easy for new user to get familier with the software and solve the complex cases in less time. License cost is moderate and this is what makes one of the plus points for it. I would recommend it to everyone where time and money is important. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

More need of tooltips and detailed documentation along with quick customer support. Product documentation is not detailed and this increases the dependency on the customer support. If the documentation is improved this will be the great product to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been using Allscripts for 5 years now and I love it. The software is very user friendly. With all software you will need a little bit of training. Once you start using it, it is very easy to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
