Also, not all “features” are described in the “help,” as they are limitations of the applied technology. It is not possible to edit geometry, not even to move parts. I find the "auto weld creator" in Altair SimSolid amazing, where the weld length can also be determined. It provides insight into the amount of welding in complex and large structures, which is useful for cost estimations. Additionally, the initial setup is very simple. I often have to adjust the legend and cannot compare two models side by side. I also find it difficult to combine SimSolid with other programs.
