"Awesome design tool for professional and students: Ease of use, Solidworks is easier to learn and very easy to gain expertise. The tools and templates available within the software is good enough for basic learning. Files can be exported and imported in different formats. This makes the software versatile for usage. Readily available templates and parts help a lot in designing and time savings. Simulation is a great tool for parts design. It has different modules for different types of jobs. These modules make it easier to navigate. The user interface is very friendly and easy to use. Lots of companies use Solidworks for their design needs. So, files can be shared with different clients. "High end cad - on a Chromebook!?!?!: Web-based, responsive CAD allows for work-from-anywhere-on-almost-anything performance. We've adopted it for our HS Robotics team, and I've adopted it for CAD projects here at our engineering R&D firm. For the HS team, this is a total game-changer. Previous use of single or dual seat CAD options required a special computer that would then need to manage who got to use it, and when. Cloud-based Onshape runs on a Chromebook, so EVERYONE ON THE TEAM can now be a CAD user. Even if they are not contributing design input, they can pull from the team drawing to get the info they need for strategy, electronics wiring info, camera mounting, and countless other options. At work, my iMac is the go-to platform that does not need special installation of Windows emulation to accommodate the MS-centric approach dominant in engineering software tools. This is the future."

"INVENTOR THE BEST TOOL FOR DESIGNS.: This tool is one of the best software I've seen to design the parts I need and I do not get them in the market. INVENTOR is very easy to use and with the help of the tutorials I have been able to learn how to develop this tool. It has allowed me to review the gears and the accuracies of the encage in a very fast way, I can review the resistance of the materials and design all necessary structures. Another important aspect is the possibility of making the pieces in modules which in the end I can join them and get a complete product of what I need, how it works and its durability, as long as we load the parameters in a correct way in the program ."

"Versatile 3D Modeling tool, yet there is better software for drafting and documentation: Rhinoceros is one of the most user friendly and powerful software for 3D modeling. The interface is made to make spinning and viewing models as easy and effortless as possible. For 3D models that are dwgs, I always opt to open in Rhinoceros rather than the native AutoCAD software. Furthermore, the ability to integrate parametric modeling and third party plug-ins such as Grasshopper also adds to the versatility and power of using Rhinoceros. There is a large community of users that seem to continuously expand on Rhinocero's features, and thus this makes the software more valuable. "

Here's a very common statement I frequently hear from customers: although you can go deep into hardcore manufacturing and engineering, with about a week of practice and some YouTube videos, you can be successful to a degree that would take some serious (and expensive) training with other products."

"The perfect tool to make designs quickly : I really like SolidWorks because it is a program because the graphics engine allows users to make 3D designs quickly and efficiently. It also has a very easy-to-use interface, thanks to this you can work in a fluid way. Its assembly tool is really very good because it allows us to make pieces separately and then put them together, in doing this we save processing power by making very large pieces. The rendering tool is very good, since it allows us to visualize pieces in a high graphic quality. "

It's level of rendering options cannot be found in any of the software. It has search command right on your top toolbar, where we can search all the tools very easily. We can get CNC machine program for the product. It is best for part design, assemblies, sheet metal design and surface modelling. It does take much time to load like catia."

"Easy to use with great support: The reason we purchased the software was to take advantage of trochoidal machining strategies, for this, the iMachining product works well. Because SolidCAM is a SolidWORKS add-in, the geometry creation and editing are easier than porting from the CAD software to the CAM software. Or having to suffer through the CAD tools that most CAM software include. The online videos and community support is great too."

"The Power of IronCAD: The modeling and rendering capabilities of IronCAD are amazing, especially when compared to other modeling programs such as Sketchup, Vectorworks, and Blender. I only wish other software would make use of a similar tri-ball system that IC utilizes. The ability to integrate 3D modeling, drafting, rendering, and an export service all in the same software package makes IC a one-stop-shop. As with any modeling and drafting software there is a learning curve, but I've found IronCAD to have provided the least amount of frustration in my getting to the point where I was able to make the software do what I wanted it to do. "
