What I like most about Altair FluxMotor is its ability to combine speed, accuracy, and ease of use in the design of electric machines. The software is particularly useful for optimization and design exploration, as it allows engineers to evaluate many design alternatives efficiently. I also appreciate its automation features, which simplify repetitive tasks and improve productivity. Overall, FluxMotor is a powerful and user-friendly tool that greatly accelerates the development of high-performance electric machines.

There are occasional bugs, and there are also some licence problems.

**What problems is Altair FluxMotor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Altair FluxMotor solves the challenge of designing and evaluating electric machines quickly without requiring time-consuming finite element simulations for every design iteration. It enables rapid exploration of different motor topologies, winding configurations, and operating points while providing accurate performance predictions. This significantly reduces development time and allows me to evaluate a large number of design candidates efficiently. In my work, it has been particularly beneficial for generating and validating datasets, accelerating optimization workflows, and supporting AI-based motor sizing. Overall, it improves productivity, shortens design cycles, and helps identify high-performance solutions much faster than traditional approaches.
