**What do you like best about Altair EDEM?**

The software features GPU utilization for running simulations, making the heavy DEM simulation possible. Additionally, it has a user-friendly interface, which helps unfamiliar new users with the DEM method. Another very interesting point is the help material provided by Altair, the company responsible for EDEM. The educational material is quite comprehensive, with many tutorials and insights.

**What do you dislike about Altair EDEM?**

The software calculates the behavior of particles at each time step, following the theory behind DEM. Because of this, the number of files saved at each time step is excessively large and takes up a lot of space on the hard drive. If you have a large number of analyses to run, managing these files can be a challenge.

**What problems is Altair EDEM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm using EDEM in my master's in agricultural engineering, where I'm studyng the efficiency of a coffee cleaner. I am simulating the operation of the machine and checking how much coffee particles are separating from the dusty particles.

**What do you like best about Altair EDEM?**

EDEM can deal with complex reenactments of mass materials. Whether I'm working with powders, grains, or even tablets, EDEM permits me to envision and break down their conduct exhaustively. This allows me to advance hardware plan and anticipate certifiable collaborations, setting aside time and cash over the long haul.

**What do you dislike about Altair EDEM?**

The drawback of EDEM is its asset force. Running complex recreations requires a strong PC with a decent designs card. In the event that your machine isn't satisfactory, recreations can consume a large chunk of the day or become unsteady.

**What problems is Altair EDEM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EDEM has been a device for my work with mass materials. By reenacting genuine situations, I can recognize potential issues right off the bat in the plan cycle. This assists me with making more proficient and dependable items.
