HPCWorks Velocity™ (previously Accelerator) software – part of the Siemens Xcelerator business platform of software, hardware and services – is a scalable, event-driven workload manager and job scheduler designed to meet the complex demands of semiconductor design and electronic design automation (EDA). HPCWorks Velocity can run millions of jobs per day, with sub-millisecond latency for maximum throughput. With HPCWorks Velocity, users can make the most of expensive EDA software and maximize computing resources from small, dedicated server farms to complex, distributed HPC, cluster and cloud environments. Hierarchical scheduling can further boost throughput. Achieve maximum throughput: Maximize capacity utilization and accelerate throughput with event-driven architecture, a small memory footprint and extremely low dispatch latency.
