If anything, maybe the interface which is minimal. and not sufficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Fax.Plus? I switched to Fax.Plus expecting a reliable business fax service, but it turned out to be one of the most frustrating software experiences I’ve had. Our law firm primarily faxes documents to the IRS and other government agencies. With our previous provider, these transmissions generally went through on the first attempt. With Fax.Plus, first attempts frequently failed, requiring us to resend the same fax multiple times before it would finally go through. When I contacted support, the response was essentially that IRS fax lines are busy and that I should send faxes during off-peak hours, break documents into smaller batches, wait between retries, or enable automatic retries. None of those are realistic solutions for a professional office handling time-sensitive tax filings during normal business hours. A fax service should reliably handle standard business use cases—not require customers to reorganize their workflow around its limitations. Even worse, enabling auto-retry simply consumed additional pages from our monthly allotment while repeatedly attempting the same failed transmission. That shifts the cost of the product’s reliability issues onto the customer. After concluding the service wasn’t suitable for our practice, I requested cancellation and a prorated refund shortly after signing up. Despite acknowledging that engineering would investigate the issue, the company refused any prorated refund because of its annual subscription policy. Support representatives were polite, but the outcome was disappointing: practical concerns were met with generic troubleshooting advice instead of a meaningful solution, and the company stood behind its refund policy despite unresolved reliability issues. If your business depends on dependable fax delivery—especially to government agencies where failed transmissions can have serious consequences—I cannot recommend Fax.Plus. Not HIPAA compliant at the basic subscription tier. Other, more affordable options exist. The basic monthly subscription rate was adequate for my needs until I discovered that it was not HIPAA compliant and that I works need to subscribe at a much higher tier than I needed just to get HIPAA compliance. It was very easy to set up, port existing numbers, and deploy to users. The cost is affordable compared to many other cloud solutions and is far better than physical devices. My only dislike is how it tracks usage. If three people are monitoring a line and a five-page fax is delivered, it counts as 15 pages used. I would much prefer that it be counted as just five pages. There aren't a lot of features that bloat the UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Fax.Plus? Sending limitation of 500. Import limitation of 1000. Not being able to customize faxes with first/last name or contact metadata. The most annoying part is the errors when attempting to import aren't explicit as to why something failed. I'd like to know exactly why something failed - typically this resulted in me going through the CSV in batches to try and find the error which was typically a phone number too long or too short.
