Allsorter Nexus is a chat-driven recruitment workflow platform, built for the part of recruitment that no tool was ever built for: the work between receiving a brief and delivering a shortlist. It's typically the most time-consuming stretch of a recruiter's day, and the least supported by existing software. Rather than another point tool for one step of that process, Nexus is the orchestration layer that sits above whichever ATS an organisation already runs, bringing sourcing, screening and candidate presentation into a single place. Nexus works by conversation rather than navigation. A recruiter describes what they need in plain language, and Nexus carries out the work rather than requiring a click-through of separate screens and separate tools for each step. Flows extend this to bulk actions: a whole desk of live roles can be moved through the same step, presenting several candidates in the same format, or screening a batch at once, from a single instruction rather than done one at a time. Once a shortlist is ready, the Hiring Manager Portal gives hiring managers a clean, consistent interface to review and respond to it, rather than a CV forwarded as an email attachment. Because Nexus sits above the ATS layer rather than being built into a single system, it works the same way regardless of which ATS, or how many, an organisation runs. That matters in practice: many recruitment businesses end up running more than one ATS over time, through growth, acquisition, or different teams making different tooling choices, and a workflow layer that only works with a single ATS underneath it breaks down exactly when that happens. Candidate presentation inside Nexus runs on D8talive, the extraction engine behind four years of parsing and formatting development from the team behind Allsorter, our candidate presentation product used by more than 400 recruitment agencies and in-house talent teams. D8talive reads CVs and resumes across file types, including PDFs, Word documents and candidate profiles pulled from job boards and LinkedIn, and captures 95%+ of the data on every document it processes, regardless of how inconsistent the original formatting was. Nexus is built for both sides of the recruitment market. For a recruitment agency, it means every client sees a consistent standard of shortlist and presentation, whichever recruiter on the desk built it, and a workflow that holds up whether the desk is running one ATS or several across different client accounts. For an in-house talent acquisition team, it means a hiring manager gets the same clear, reliable candidate profile every time, and a workflow that fits into whatever ATS the organisation has already invested in, rather than requiring a migration. On security and compliance, Nexus is ISO 27001 certified and GDPR compliant, with the certification scope covering how candidate data is handled from the point it enters the workflow through to a delivered shortlist. That's the same certification scope that covers Allsorter, so the standard doesn't change depending on which product a team is using. Essential and Professional plans are available, both with unlimited users, priced on the credits a team actually uses rather than a flat per-seat fee. That means cost tracks how much of the workflow is actually running through Nexus, not how many people happen to be logged in on a given day. Recruiters are already using AI tools on candidate data day to day, often without the rest of the team knowing which tools, or how. Our position is that the right answer is giving a team a sanctioned tool, so that stops being invisible, rather than pretending it isn't happening. Nexus is built to be that tool: a recruitment workflow platform a team is actually supposed to be using, built on the same extraction engine, and by the same team, behind Allsorter.
