Allscripts for discharge planning **Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Kevin J. | Pediatric Transplant Social Worker, Hospital & Health Care, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2017 **What do you like best about Allscripts CareDirector?** Allscripts made it fairly easy to submit referrals to multiple skilled nursing facilities, LTACH, or DME companies in one step. **What do you dislike about Allscripts CareDirector?** The interface was not very intuitive, and the process for fax attaching documents did not always work well. At times there were also wrong contact/fax numbers for companies that were not also on the Allscripts system. **What problems is Allscripts CareDirector solving and how is that benefiting you?** Allscripts has been used at the hospital mostly for discharge planning and ensuring patients have the required care/materials when leaving the inpatient system. Being able to group multiple referrals together in one place was helpful. ### 2.
