Whether you’re hosting your own event or just looking for one to attend, you can find everything on Allevents. The site is easy to navigate, so it’s clear how to find your way around. I also like that as soon as you create your event on Facebook, you can automatically find it on their site. You can simply search the name of your city and the type of event you’re interested in, and everything shows up on one page. I've been producing events for years, so I'm always looking for ways to get them in front of more people. What I've really liked about AllEvents is that it helps my events reach audiences outside of my own social media. I've noticed people finding my shows through searches and local event recommendations, which has been a nice bonus. The platform is simple to use, my events are easy to manage, and it's another place where people can discover what I'm creating. As someone who hosts recurring drag brunches and live events, every bit of extra visibility matters, and I've definitely seen value in having my events listed there. No single platform sells every ticket, but AllEvents has become a great addition to my marketing strategy. What do you dislike about AllEvents? One thing I'd love to see improved is the pricing for promotional features. As an organizer of smaller events, the paid promotion options can be difficult to justify because the cost can take up a significant portion of the event's profit. I understand the value of advertising, but I think offering more budget friendly options for independent organizers and smaller events would make those tools much more accessible. AllEvents is solving one of the biggest challenges event organizers face: getting events discovered by people outside of their existing audience. As someone who produces recurring events, I can't rely solely on social media algorithms or my own followers to fill every show. Having my events listed on AllEvents gives them another opportunity to be found through search, local recommendations, and people actively looking for things to do. I like AllEvents because they don't charge much commission and the GST amount is pretty much less compared to other websites. It's easy to access, easy to use, and the best thing is their amazing customer support, which is always available and provides specific contacts to connect. The user and employee check-in feature, as well as the attendee and vendor sponsor check-in, are really convenient. It's also great that I can collect all of our payments directly through their platform, which streamlines our process by having all resource management and payment information in one location, including integration with our Stripe account.
