It cannot always keep up with it's user so you may have to stop and wait for it to catch up to what you are doing. There are certain things that won't always work on it. It really just takes time to learn and figure everything out on it. The main things that trips me up is sometimes Aljex isn't as quick as the user. Aljex is on a weekly basis, very slow, or won't load at all. Support can get it running agin in a timely matter about half the time. Recently I have learned to navigate Aljex with hot keys and short cuts. This is cutting down on my time spent clicking between pages which has improved my overall productivity of Aljex. **What do you dislike about Descartes Aljex?** Although it can be clunky at times - there are ways to navigate around that. Recently what I have found that I dislike the most is that unlike other CRMS you cannot connect it to you apps. I have an app that I take a picture of business cards and store them in - on the app you can connect directly to Salesforce and improve your portfolio. **Recommendations to others considering Descartes Aljex:** When you are unsure about a feature in Aljex the support staff is very friendly. There was one feature I was "locked" from using and called them. Within a couple days the issue was resolved and it is now one of my most used features I would say. **What problems is Descartes Aljex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Overall the biggest problem I have seen is repeated customer entry - if you use different location or phone number for a similar business it does not notify you. When I am at home if something goes wrong, from my cell phone on the bus. I also like that you can have many tabs open at the same time and not have to worry about them disrupting each other **What do you dislike about Descartes Aljex?** Sometimes the software is a little clunky to use. When you try and go back sometimes it is in efficient. **Recommendations to others considering Descartes Aljex:** Take some time to play with the different functions and hot keys - makes it way more user friendly. **What problems is Descartes Aljex solving and how is that benefiting you?** With Aljex, I have been able to go back and see notes about calls with customers easier than before. Because it is all in one place it makes it easy to review profiles.
