What do you dislike about Aline AI? Honestly, very little that isn't a function of how new the category is. My main note is that the tool is only as good as the precedent you feed it. Early on I spent time getting our templates and prior agreements organized enough for Aline to draw from. I'd also like deeper native handling of tracked changes and comment threads in redline-heavy negotiations, since that's where a lot of my day lives. Every hour spent hunting for precedent or rebuilding a clause from scratch is an hour not spent on the matters that actually need judgment. Aline solves three things concretely: Drafting throughput. Generating solid first-pass language directly in Word means routine agreements move in minutes instead of half a day. The benefit isn't just speed; it's that I stop deferring low-urgency work that then piles up. Portfolio visibility. The multi-document comparison workflow lets me map key provisions across the full set of agreements with a major client and see where terms diverge. That used to be a manual exercise I could only justify when something had already gone wrong. The ability to create reports with deep contract analysis is unmatched. We've tested out a number of platforms and none of them were able to analyze our contracts with AI and put it in an easily digested format like Aline can. Not to mention their pricing was much better than any of the others we tested out. Their ability to create playbooks and use them to quickly redline contracts is so such a key feature. It's sped up NDA review exponentially. The Aline team offers lightening speed support and I appreciate they are open to any and all feedback and product ideas.
