Also there are a lot of features in GCP which if added to Alibaba RDS can make it a very good product. **What problems is Alibaba ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main issue was disaster recovery and High Availability on on-prem. When we moved to Alicloud those issues were resolved and we increased productivity. Our team can concentrate more on development tasks as it reduces manual intervention in disaster recovery. ### 3.
