Below is some feature I personally like AlgoSec. In our organization, we have taken the license of the AlgoSec firewall analyzer and fire flow. 1) In a firewall analyzer, We can easily visualize and analyze all the devices within the network. If we want to check the connectivity between two different location devices (source and destination), You can just put the IPs in source and destination, AlgoSec analyzer will give you all the path information between these two devices graphically with the middle devices with IP address. So we can easily get the connectivity details from AlgoSec tools. But firstly, all the network devices should have to integrate with AlgoSec tools. 2) Secondly, the Verification of Policies on all integrated firewalls with minimal time stamps. If any project team wants some rules information, we can easily grab this information from AlgoSec without login into the firewall and download it in CSV, and give it to the concerned team. 3)We can build out the whole network topology by using AlgoSec tools easily and provide optimization with all networks. 4) We have used the firewall for the implementation of the rule into the firewalls getaways, We have 18 FW gateways and we are continuously implementing the 100 + rules on daily basis via AlgoSec, with a minimum timestamp. The fire flow tools automatically, select the firewall zone and pre-midify rules as well and push the rules into the gateway with new IDs. Once the implementation of the rule is done the fire flow sent a mail to the concerned lead for confirmation of rules implementation. It's a very impressive feature that AlgoSec provided.
