**What do you like best about ALEX Home?**

I like the interaction for the employee and how it helps guide them into making the best decision for themself.  It's great for self-service.

Nothing that I can think of at the moment

It's helping mitigate questions that would be sent directly to me.  The employee can use this tool to try and answer their questions first.

Extremely useful. My company started using ALEX recently and it is extremely useful and easy to use. It can help assist in choosing health benefits. This was the first time we have used a tool like ALEX and we have heard positive feedback from employees.

Only negative is his voice otherwise everything is fine.

It didn't feel like I was seeing the entire picture.

Employees can get guidance on making decisions about which benefits would best fit their lifestyle and needs - especially when working with multiple providers and disparate locations.

I used ALEX to help elect my benefits and I love how interactive and simple ALEX was to use.

**What do you dislike about ALEX Home?**

I guess it would be nice to be able to speed up the audio, and if you idle too long you'll have to start over, which wasn't ideal.

Highly recommend to help automate open enrollment!

Benefits explanation and selections - so easy to convey info and make choices!

Easy to understand explanations of complicated (and simple) benefits

**What do you dislike about ALEX Home?**

ALEX provides a great alternative to an in-person conversation, but some people may miss the "Human touch". For those that want the explanations and don't get to talk one-on-one with their Benefits Manager, ALEX is key!

**Recommendations to others considering ALEX Home:**

You won't regret it! ALEX is like hiring a Benefit Consultant to talk to all your employees (and their significant others) whenever they want!

**What problems is ALEX Home solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company is big (about 10,000 in the US) and we just don't have the resources to connect with people and answer their individual questions about "which plan is best". ALEX does this for us. Our employees love ALEX and so do we!

**What do you like best about ALEX Home?**

ALEX is a great resource. ALEX explains benefits in easy to understand terms (no benefits speak) . ALEX provides just the right amount of information and if you want more, just ask and ALEX will show you more details. Our employees have found ALEX to be very helpful in making their benefit decisions.

**What do you dislike about ALEX Home?**

There are some limitations such as not being able to do a cost analysis /comparison for those that use out of network medical benefits.

**What problems is ALEX Home solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ALEX has helped our employees understand the value and low cost overall of our High Deductible Health Plan. The total out of pocket cost comparison of medical plans, considering both cost out of paycheck and cost when obtaining services, helps show employees that the HDHP is actually the lowest cost plan in most cases.

**What do you like best about ALEX Home?**

It helps with associates who have difficulty choosing medical plans. We introduced new plans this year and Alex was a godsend.It really helps explain the importance of tax savings, too. This can really help our associates save money!

**What do you dislike about ALEX Home?**

The change process was difficult if you need to make a correction after go-live. I would like to have an extra review included. It can also be difficult to fit your plans into the templates. One last thing- more items, like an HSA match, should be standard and not have an upcharge.

**Recommendations to others considering ALEX Home:**

If you need an easy tool for your employees to use that does not use jargon and is actually kind of fun, you should check out ALEX.  I highly recommend it for plan changes and basic explanations

**What problems is ALEX Home solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were looking for a decision support tool for our associate who had new medical plan choices. Alex worked extremely well in this regard. We received a lot of positive feedback from associates and leaders  re the tool. I am hopeful this will improve our engagement survey score for benefits.

Being able to direct employees to ALEX when they questions around their benefits is a huge load off of our shoulders.

**What do you dislike about ALEX Home?**

ALEX could be viewed as an expensive product but I believe  you receive your ROI in less than a year.

**Recommendations to others considering ALEX Home:**

I would highly consider this product especially if you're dealing with  a large employee population. ALEX was able to expand the knowledge around our benefits. We have very robust benefits but our employees were not aware of that. I think ALEX definitely shined some light on that.

**What problems is ALEX Home solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employees have reached out to me personally stating that they have a better knowledge of BSC benefits thanks to ALEX.

**What do you like best about ALEX Home?**

ALEX is simple to use, informative and clever. Benefits do not usually have humor thrown in but ALEX does a great job making the benefits election process light-hearted and easy to understand. Our support team has also been great and their review portal, Josef, is fantastic! I also appreciate how they continue to roll out new modules that are beneficial.

**What do you dislike about ALEX Home?**

Honestly, I cannot think of anything I dislike.

**Recommendations to others considering ALEX Home:**

ALEX has been a great partner. Their team is fantastic to work with - friendly, organized and timely. Our implementation process was smooth and the team gives you guidance and ample time to go live. They do a great job doing as much of the heavy lifting as possible and are open to working with you and anything unexpected that might come up. The review program that they use, Josef, is great. Very user friendly. Our associates enjoy ALEX and have learned how to navigate our benefits better after using ALEX. I highly recommend ALEX.

**What problems is ALEX Home solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Benefits can be confusing and hard to understand. ALEX helps to navigate this confusing process to make it easy to understand. Our associates enjoy the humor and the uncomplicated explanations. Plus, learning how to save money is always a benefit.

**What do you like best about ALEX Home?**

The comparisons based on your life situation which add to the employee experience when it comes to their personal life. It allows employees to get questions they may have answered before having to escalate any discrepancies. It empowers employees to make the right decision on the benefits they want and may need in the future. Primarily employees experiencing life events and need to make decision that will impact their family. 

**What do you dislike about ALEX Home?**

Having to go back and start over everything you want to adjust a life situation. Also the cost in relation to making adjustments to the plat form.  The escalation process to make a change is quite frustrating. As the administrator we should be able to take these actions with out having to get the ALEX deployment team involved. I also raised the concern to our ALEX team regarding the audio on the platform, some life events are not as exciting such as divorce and death. 

**Recommendations to others considering ALEX Home:**

Ensure that the policies and benefits spds are correct. Enhancement and major changes can be costly. 

**What problems is ALEX Home solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QUESTIONS, Alex is an extension of the benefits team and enables us to comfortably direct employee to the ALEX platform to ask questions and make decisions relevant to their benefits. The platform is super helpful during OPEN ENROLLMENT and NEW HIRE ENROLLMENT. The Parents at WeWork truly appreciate the platform when they have new borns and have to make decisions on what benefits would benefit them and how they could maximize the offerings we have.

By offering Alex, employees are able to get the information they need to make their best benefit decisions anytime, anywhere!

**What do you dislike about ALEX Home?**

There is a part of me that would like Alex to be a little less "quirky", but I do appreciate that it seems to work!

**Recommendations to others considering ALEX Home:**

Use the resources you have in the sales team/implementation team - the tool is very adaptable since they offer areas for "free text".

**What problems is ALEX Home solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Alex is helping us to meet our fiduciary responsibilities by providing another format for information dissemination. Many of our employees have come to trust Alex and I often hear them say "Alex told me I should have the High Deductible Health Plan", etc. :)

He's clear, concise and consistent.  He's available 24/7, so if you are traveling for business or pleasure, you can always have a conversation with him.

I'm not sure there's anything I dislike about him.

He's worth the money!

**What problems is ALEX Home solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a large population of lower paid employees who were covered under the most expensive, over valued medical plan we offer.   We strongly urged everyone to have a conversation with Alex during this past Open Enrollment. As a result, a very large percentage of those employees moved into a CDHP Plan with an HSA.

The animated characters, the way you can learn about your employer's benefit plans; ease of use.

I would only say that sometimes we have difficulty proofing all aspects of Alex in short time frames.  This is not a reflection on Alex but rather on everyone's tight year end commitments!

**Recommendations to others considering ALEX Home:**

If you have employees with limited time to attend benefit meetings or read benefit guides, Alex is your answer!  It is fun and informative and you can allow employees to watch it at home with their family.

**What problems is ALEX Home solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our employees get confused at the end of Alex and think that they have enrolled in benefits.  No matter what we say or post, we still have this lingering issue!

Alex is super easy to understand and very entertaining. It makes it easy for new employees to understand what benefits are offered by the company.

You can't skip the introduction to get started right away. The menu doesn't stand out right away to skip through the different benefit options.

I would say do a trial and see if it fits with the culture of your workplace.

We are a staff of 4 serving an employee population of nearly 7000.  Having an interactive tool that can explain benefits to employees is a major time saver.

**What do you like best about ALEX Home?**

It is very interactive and easy to follow. I like how you are able to go back and forth and there are options to further clarify any questions that may need followup. The questions asked in order to determine the correct coverage also comes in handy. I like how it gives you the option for side-by-side comparisons of plans. It is also catered to your organization, so it often includes information such as wellness plan participation for discounts. I also like that it includes information about FSA plans, dental, vision, life, EAP and legal insurance. 

**What do you dislike about ALEX Home?**

I don't necessarily think it fits to everyone. Although, I answered the questions, the recommended policies don't always seem to add up to what I actually need. I also don't like how it prompts you to use sound whenever you are trying to get through the introduction. Sometimes the interactive part is slow which can cause frustration. 

**Recommendations to others considering ALEX Home:**

It is fairly easy to use, but ensure that you are not skipping the introduction, as it can help you navigate better in the long run.

**What problems is ALEX Home solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The interactive tool can be a pain. You cannot skip certain sections, often times if you don't want the sound on it will not let you move forward. Also, I do not like how it prompts to go through the videos every single time you log in.

Downsides - not everything can be customized. We had some issues with illustrating our Rx plan details accurately

**What do you like best about ALEX Home?**

Alex has a sense of humor. He makes benefits questions fun and incredibly personable. It's like working with the top best selling benefits broker that everyone loves, but every customer gets him. He has just the right amount of human touch with humor, and explanation. You forget you're interacting with a computer.

**What do you dislike about ALEX Home?**

There are a few edge cases related to specific benefits questions that are not readily accessible. That's going to be true with almost every solution though. 

**What problems is ALEX Home solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Alex helped me as an employee have a great experience in electing the right benefits for our open enrollment period. I actually smiled and laughed while using the product, and I was able to select from a thoughtful list of options that gave me flexibility and lots of help to understand the different options.
