Alchemist helps data engineering teams plan and run a SAS-to-cloud migration with a known scope. It measures the SAS estate before any code is converted, then converts SAS code, Enterprise Guide projects and DI jobs to PySpark for Databricks, Snowflake or Microsoft Fabric. T1A sells it as a migration acceleration toolkit with self-serve Assessment and Conversion Kits; the Full Kit adds T1A services for large estates. Analysis comes first. The Code Analyzer parses SAS Base programs, Enterprise Guide projects and DI jobs into a syntax tree and maps the dependencies between jobs, datasets and macros. Log Analyzer reads the SAS server logs to show how the platform is used in practice. Metascope inventories the SAS metadata server. The result is an inventory with lineage and a size estimate in Alchemist tokens, the toolkit's own code metric. The free Trial runs the Code Analyzer dashboard on any number of SAS assets, with no time limit. Conversion is deterministic. The Code Converter converts the syntax tree with pattern matching and templates, so the same input produces the same output on every run. Enterprise Guide projects and DI jobs are converted from their metadata, not only their code. Templates and configuration adapt the generated PySpark to a team's own conventions. An optional LLM fallback, off by default, can fill gaps the engine leaves; its output is checked with Ruff and Python. Output is native on Databricks, including notebooks, and fully compatible with Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric. For large estates, the Full Kit adds a migration framework for conversion, validation and deployment at scale, with T1A services. The Assessment and Conversion Kits are self-serve. Alchemist runs hosted, through your Alchemist account and an API, or air-gapped inside your own network. Alchemist converts code and pipeline logic. It does not move the data, and it is not built for SAS/STAT analytics or reporting layers. Licensing is a one-time license per kit plus pay-as-you-go on Alchemist tokens for conversion, with no subscription. Sign up at getalchemist.io and run the Code Analyzer on your own SAS assets.
