I wish the reporting capabilities were a little more robust. For example, we download or export PPT versions of reports and then need to edit those reports to include insights. I wish there was a way to add insights to an Alchemer reporting link so we could share that link with client teams rather than forcing us to export, format, and add insights to a PPT version. The level of customization Alchemer offers is really impressive. We've been able to build some pretty complex survey flows with skip logic and branching that would of been impossible in simpler tools. The interface is fairly intuitive once you get the hang of it, and the reporting dashboards are genuinely useful for sharing results with stakeholders. The pricing can be a bit steep, especially for smaller teams. Also the initial setup took longer then we anticipated - there's quite a learning curve with some of the more advanced features. The documentation could be better in certain areas, we often found ourselves digging through community forums to find answers. Would be nice if their support was a bit more responsive to. The best things i liked about Alchemer Survey are its features like intuitive survey builder which is beginner friendly, Advanced logic and branching, Flexible customization, Strong Report and Analytics and also Good Customer Support

For integration it connects well with crm, marketing and workflow platforms making it easy to push survey data directly

Compared to larger enterprises platforms like Qualtric, Alchemer is cost effective and predictable in pricing

The UI is very user-friendly, and the drag-and-drop functionality is genuinely helpful. At the moment, it doesn’t really feel like Alchemer offers much in terms of AI integration, or at least it isn’t very visible within the product. If there are AI features available, I’d describe them more as a handful of AI-driven analysis tools rather than AI being a central focus. Another area where Alchemer Survey could improve is the onboarding experience. For new users, it can feel a bit overwhelming, since the guidance and step-by-step direction aren’t as comprehensive as they could be. I use Alchemer Survey as part of my training development team to collect feedback from learners on various trainings. I like that it allows us to create survey questionnaires tailored to our training needs, whether they are open-ended questions or rating-based. This flexibility helps us gather detailed feedback by collecting ratings on specific aspects of the training as well as descriptive feedback about the instructors. The level of customization is what really sets Alchemer apart. I've been using it since 2018 for market research projects and the flexibility it gives you to build exactly what you need is impressive. The API access and webhook integrations allowed us to connect it with our own tools seamlessly. In fact, the platform was so flexible that we were able to build a voice transcription tool on top of our survey workflows — something we initially developed for internal use to process open-ended responses faster. The customization options with logic, piping, and the ability to integrate with third-party services made all of this possible without having to switch platforms. The learning curve for advanced features can be steep at first. Some of the documentation for API integrations could be more detailed — we had to figure out a few things through trial and error. Too many of the benefits are at a higher tiered rate.
