Thanks for your feedback, and that's great to hear Apptentive has been useful in identifying some of the technical friction points in your app. Based on the issue you reported with interpreting open-ended feedback, I wanted to make sure you were aware of our automatic sentiment scoring based on machine learning. We also identify common phrases in the Insights panel across your feedback sources, which can be quickly filtered and sorted through. Glad to hear you've found Apptentive helpful in proactively solving your customers' challenges! Continuing to innovate and provide Apptentive brands even more powerful ways to sift through high volumes to quantitative feedback is a huge focus for our product and engineering teams. Regarding your note about a challenge targeting specific users, I wanted to make sure you were aware of our new Interaction Targeting capability found in Apptentive SDK 6.0. This feature allows you to target any new interactions to only display to customers that responded a specific way on a past Surveys and/or Notes. It's a great way to close the feedback loop with specific cohorts, or dive deeper with follow-up surveys to unearth actionable feedback fast. I've linked to a page in our Learning Center about how you can utilize this new targeting capability today. Note that this is a new feature that comes only with our new iOS SDK 6.0, and soon-to-be-available Android SDK 6.0.

Many thanks for the feedback! Regarding your question about users being able to submit feedback without authentication, we do have a solution for this right now. With Apptentive, you can pass through your customer IDs as custom data, which can then be associated with feedback collected. See the link below for an example of how to pass custom data in an Android app. We also have this capability for iOS. You can always reach out to your Apptentive CSM and they would be happy to help you pass through custom ID into your instance!
