## About Albumi
Albumi is a lightweight Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) tool built for small and mid-size architecture teams that need to map, manage, and govern their IT landscape without the overhead of a traditional six-month enterprise software implementation. The product is cloud-native SaaS with self-serve onboarding — sign up with Google or Microsoft SSO and start modeling your architecture in under an hour, no sales call, no demo gate, and no professional services engagement required. The core of Albumi is a structured registry of the working entities that matter in enterprise architecture: applications, integrations, data objects, IT components, business capabilities, organizations, and initiatives. Every entity has ownership, lifecycle status, and relationships to the entities it depends on or supports. This turns scattered spreadsheets, Confluence pages, and tribal knowledge into a single source of truth that you can query, filter, and act on. Application Portfolio Management sits at the center. Each application carries TIME classification (Tolerate, Invest, Migrate, Eliminate), lifecycle status (Plan, Phase-In, Active, Phase-Out, End-of-Life), business criticality, technology stack, and owner. The Integration Catalog tracks every system-to-system data flow with source, target, protocol, operations, and the data objects flowing between them. Business Capability Mapping connects applications to the business functions they support, with coverage analysis (Gap, Fragile, Healthy, Over-Served) that drives rationalization and investment decisions. A visual dependency graph shows how the pieces connect, making impact analysis a matter of clicking instead of guessing. Governance is built in. Changes to the architecture go through Architecture Change Requests routed to Review Boards with structured approval workflows, so every significant change is reviewed, approved, and tracked. Initiatives link business outcomes to the applications and capabilities they affect. Albumi includes AI-assisted import via the Model Context Protocol (MCP): point your AI agent — Claude, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible tool — at your existing documents, wikis, or spreadsheets, and it extracts applications, integrations, and owners into structured entries for your review. What used to be weeks of manual data entry becomes an hour of AI discovery followed by architect verification. Albumi is currently in beta, free for small teams, and focused on cloud-only deployments. It does not attempt to replace dedicated TOGAF or ArchiMate modeling tools — it complements them by providing the operational EAM layer that turns architecture models into actionable portfolio decisions. Built by architects for fellow architects who want a pragmatic tool, not a framework compliance exercise.
