I love how good the mobile app works! I don't have to have my key card to be able to get into my office seamlessly.

I did have to reconfigure my app a few times for it to work but after that, it worked great

**What do you like best about Alarm.com for Business?**

Alarm.com has been listening to customers and advancing in useful ways. Everytime I've had a negative critique it's been matched shortly after with a solution before I even have a chance to voice it. It's a very intuitive product that can be easily managed from a phone on the go or web portal on your computer. I look forward to the future as a customer.

**What do you dislike about Alarm.com for Business?**

There needs to be better direct to customers support, I hate having to ask my partner to ask if you guys have a feature or what the best way to do something is....a portal that connects us with other customers would help.

Needs more high level adjustability, sometimes it would be nice to modify one rule one time vs 70 times for each office

**What problems is Alarm.com for Business solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They have made it easier to manage security, I can show an end user how to use the system quickly in a pinch, reporting is good aswell.

**What do you like best about Alarm.com for Business?**

Alarm.com has proven to be a highly effective and scalable solution for integrated security and automation needs. The platform is exceptionally easy to use, with a clean interface and intuitive controls that make system management accessible even for non-technical users. One of its greatest strengths is its modularity—allowing organizations to tailor deployments by adding or removing components based on operational needs.

We’ve been able to centralize intrusion alerting, door access controls, smart thermostats, fire alarms, and CCTV into a single cohesive system, significantly improving efficiency and oversight. Additionally, Alarm.com regularly releases new features and enhancements, which are generally included at no additional cost—this is a major plus from a value standpoint.

**What do you dislike about Alarm.com for Business?**

Most of the hardware is great, but some components have room for improvement. For example, certain wireless temperature probes could be more robust and reliable. Also, while software features are included, taking advantage of newer capabilities often requires purchasing upgraded hardware, which can be a budget consideration.

Alarm.com for Business is helping us address several operational and safety challenges through its comprehensive and modular platform. We leverage a wide range of its features to improve both security and efficiency.

Centralized door access control has streamlined how we manage employee access—eliminating the need for physical keys or locksmith services and allowing for quick, remote adjustments. Smart thermostats enhance the customer experience by maintaining consistent comfort levels, while also providing usage data that supports proactive maintenance and energy management.

We’ve also implemented discrete panic buttons in our locations, giving our team members a quick and silent way to call for assistance in emergency situations. Additionally, the integrated video surveillance, motion detection, and door sensors provide robust intrusion alerting and support various ad hoc monitoring needs.

Overall, Alarm.com enables us to manage security, access, and facility systems from a single, centralized platform—improving safety, operational control, and response times across the organization.

There are a few items in the mobile app that should be placed or named differently but for the most part it works perfectly for our needs.

The availability of panic buttons empowers our team members to quickly summon help in case of emergencies, enhancing their sense of safety and security. The system's user-friendly interface has made it easy for our team members to arm and disarm the system, add and remove users as needed.

Alarm.com provides a intuitive platform for its users while continuing to maintain its ease of use for an end user. The general status of systems and business insights the ADC platform provides has been imperative in providing support to our field teams. ADC is second to NONE!

Abilities to remotely control on site video displays. Ability to connect directly to CSVR without going through the cloud. Ability to remotely support intrusion systems to add wireless devices.

Reliability to monitoring active device status and health. Ability to begin rolling out enterprise level multi unit access control systems.

It is easy to manage multiple buildings or sites as well as giving access to as many people as you need. Access can be given through a website, phone application or by just assigning local access with a code.

**What do you dislike about Alarm.com for Business?**

Customer support is only as good as the company you are using. Alarm.com is only the management website that lets you access your alarm system. Our system is through Northwest Security Inc. and they have been pretty good with getting back to us on issues that we had in the past.

**What problems is Alarm.com for Business solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Although we have a seperate system for our video surveilance we can use Alarm.com to see the precise time doors are open and closed throughout the day and especially during the weekends when the cleaning crew is usually the only ones in the building. Easy management through the phone app also helps when users forget to arm the system when they leave.

Using the enterprise dashboard we are able to efficently access and control multiple sites as well as control user access at all of our locations. Updating or removing access has never been easier. Alarm.com reports have also been a great resource to get a snapshot of a locations activity.

Nothing to dislike. This industry tends to be slow to innovate but Alarm.com seems to always be ahead of the rest.

The best thing about alarm.com for business is that it is proactive in alerting business in case of any undesirable situations. It provides a real time view of what is happening at multiple locations on one video screen also the açcess user code plays a vital role in the security system for any business and alarm.com solves that problem very easily.

There are no downsides of Alarm.com for business so I did not find anything to dislike about it.

**What problems is Alarm.com for Business solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing multiple locations and so many people at one real time becomes very hectic but alarm.com for business this problem is sorted as i can see what my juniors are doing at multiple locations while sitting in my cabin. This also provides a safety as you can get alerts before any mishappening. Everything is secure as people using it will need access user code for controlling the system.Hence my day to day life has become much easier with alarm.com for business.

the technology is pretty seamless across the board.  UI is also a big plus. I've never had an issue with any software in the three years I've been using the platform.

One issue is installation but really all systems require a certain amount of install

I think the ability to have multiple email address for an account should be utilized. would be easier on Property Management teams utilizing the platform

Alarm.com is solving our problem of unauthorized access to our commercial property.  I am able to secure the building doors at anytime with the online interface, as well as restrict/allow specific users with their key fobs.

The administrator site is easy to use, simple for updating customer information, and we are able to support our customers over the phone when they need support with their system

The IMEI number on the box doesn't always match the device so we have to make sure to open the box to register the device, it would be helpful if the number on the box was accurate for registration.

**What do you like best about Alarm.com for Business?**

Ease of use. Point Central is a very user friendly system, it is very self explanitory which is nice. It has many different accesses you can deny or allow for different users. This system allows us to keep track of all wifi connected devices in a home, security devices, thermostats, other heating elements. There are multiple users and ability to set different securities for different users as well as the option for full access.

**What do you dislike about Alarm.com for Business?**

As I mentioned Point Central has trouble sometimes communicating with other systems, whether that is the other programs fault or the fault of itself is still to be seen, the short of it is it makes for large inconveniences for our guests. Multiple times our company has lost money because another system wasn't playing nice with Point Central and we have had to disconnect Point Central and refund the guest money since the system malfunctioned.

Keeping access to full programming/administration limited keeps the system running smoother and more securely.

**What problems is Alarm.com for Business solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows automation for a lot of features that would be very tedious to keep track of manually. Having a record of every door access from different users help keep everyone in our company accountable for their actions. Giving the guest immediate satisfaction (give or take a few minutes for it to travel through the cloud) is very helpful. It allows remote access, working in a call center this is invaluable.
