What I really like about this product is its capability of keeping notes about all candidates that come in our organization because as a recruiter we tend to forget many details about several candidates so that is great. we have been using it in our organization for a long time now. This product is great for so many things, even recruiting other companies. It is used for various functions in our company like staffing and sometimes even configuring payroll aspects. All in all, this software has not just proven to be a tracking system but it has resolved many other problems that exist in a business. Sometimes it becomes really annoying when I just cannot copy and paste an email to a new email for composing another email. Also, the parse function within the platform just properly functions on the Internet Explorer which works poorly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Akken has been a critical asset helping our organization redefine recruiter workflows as well as providing valuable control on different types of data. The design of Akken is very well mapped with the candidate/recruiter process and therefore provided better ways for us to redefine how our recruiters work with our candidates from sourcing to assignment. Akken with all of its different data types and field entries is literally a gold mine of data for analytics and reporting. AkkenCloud has allowed us to collaborate and interact with all departments seamlessly. I have used several platforms in my career, but AKKENCloud has surpassed the competition by far. Customer service is prompt, the layout is customizable, and switching to another system for staffing is out of the question! I would like to see a more extended timeout period before having to log back in. If end users could delete notes made in error within a specific time frame without getting an admin involded, we could record accurate information in the most effective manner possible. I like that Akken doesn't take too much time to learn how to use, and that customer support is available when needed. We have done a couple of live trainings as new things came up. We recently integrated Outlook with Akken and it has been a great feature! Now emails automatically show up without having to copy them into the notes like we used to do. I like that I can filter and use the boolean feature easily. I like htat I can add my new hires in a group, see when the last time the file was modified and their most recent job title on their resume. I also like the dashboard reminders and the calendar feature. It's interesteing how it shows my invitations on the home screen. Sometimes, it is help to have a candidates profile as a separate pop out window in case I get a call from someone and need to switch gears quickly. I won't loose my place or my work. I like it. I do like that I can filter additional candidates by owner and send blast emails to my candidates to market new job openings. It seems pretty user friendly when it comes down to that. It's slow, adds additional pop up windows and repetitive with entering the same info over and over. I don'ot like that it doesn't integrate well with Ring Central. I wish the client and candidate features would have some sort of integration and flagg a client or candidate that might be both in our system. I also don't like how the phone number won't populate in the mobile and primary number phone fields. I wish I cold filter my submission by my name so that I could have a quick snapshot of my activity. The system is slow when it comes to uploading a resume. The reporting/analytic functions have too many limitations for filters and pulling the information wanted. Akken also removed functions that are very helpful such as when creating an invoice; I used to be able to choose to credit or charge the customer and now it will only allow me to charge the customer with the credit function not working. For five years I also used to be able to update an assignment and in timesheets it would move the assignment to the top of the list but now for some reason it will keep the assignment as far down on the list as when it was initially placed. I think there would be less clutter if we could open multiple tabs in Akken as opposed to entirely new windows. I was unable to assign a shift easly. Found it kind of hard. I am not a fan of how when i send an email I have to type out my name and where I work, all my email info. I would like it to be presetted. Maybe there is a way but I just have not found it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that I can access a lot of what I need on Akken and that we can so many things integrated into it. One of my favorite things has to be that every different task or candidate I click on opens a new window so I don't have to hit back a thousand times or think about where I left off. I also like that I can easily create a candidate's profile simply by uploading their resume. It saves me a lot of time, however I'd prefer a quicker process which I explain below. I'd prefer if applications we received through ZipRecruiter and Indeed we're automatically transferred to our Akken piepline. I've worked with Greenhouse ATS in the past and they had that integrated. For example, someone would apply via Indeed or ZipRecruiter and their application/application questions would automatically transfer into our Greenhouse Pipeline. Once in our pipeline, we could filter through what resumes we wanted to keep active for that job and the ones we'd reject would simply go into a rejected folder.
