My team uses AkkenCloud predominantly for time management and timesheets. With this in mind, Akken is easy to use for time entry and allows you to keeps track of various expenses, standard timesheets, and overtime, and also allows you to enter effort against different roles or positions. There are a few quirks that can be frustrating. If you click on the time menu, the navigation automatically takes you to "expenses" compared to the "timesheet" page. Both are time menu items; however, if you happen to click on the upper link, the navigation takes you to the first page - expenses - usually not where you intend to go. This issue is a minor navigation quirk, yet one that can be quite frustrating. Second, when editing a timesheet, Akken always launches a second window or pop-up. It would be more efficient if I didn't have to go into different categories to search for people ("Client," "Candidate," etc.) and could instead search for a person in only one place and see in that one place all the ways they interact with my organization, since people often fit into multiple categories and interact with us as both candidates and clients at various points in their career. It would be nice to be able to set a time frame from your calendar. For instance, the holidays are coming up, and I want to complete all tasks within that week. The clunky email and no mobile email options from my phone, unable to mass merge duplicate candidate profiles (more than 1 person at a time), Calendar should be the Outlook, not an entirely separate calendar. Why doesn't it pull an IP address location for candidates applying to filter out if they're close to the job location or not? Overall feels archaic and poorly configured for our usage.
