Akitra customer support ensures evidence and reports are collected in a thorough manner. **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software **Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2026 **What do you like best about Akitra?** You can actually see and download for yourself the evidence that is collected automatically. Every integration had well-detailed documentation or step-by-step processes on what needed to be connected and what IAM roles were necessary. When we encountered in issue with the Trust Center, we raised the concern to the Akitra team and they implemented a fix for it in a respectable turnaround time. The founder is always on top of scheduling calls when it comes to discussing new security frameworks or determining which auditing firm would be involved, and the team lead on the customer support double-checks the submitted evidence and policy docs to ensure they match the effective controls. **What do you dislike about Akitra?** The strong push for a weekly cadence of meetings during the evidence collection and control implementation / setup was initially met with hesitation, but it ended up helping us stay on target for the evidence gathering. The integration configuration, while well documented, required a lot of manual steps and clicks in the respective platforms, and could likely be improved by developing guides using CLI and MCP / API-based programmatic approaches, for example a series of cli commands that could be used to generate the specific service accounts and IAM principals required. **What problems is Akitra solving and how is that benefiting you?** Enterprise contracts require security compliance with frameworks like SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001, and Akitra has a platform that allows you to map the controls to manual/automated evidence collection and policies, while keeping key stake holders aware via notifications of pending tasks or controls that may be at risk. ### 2. Its automation makes complex process very smooth efficient and easy. It's dashboard is very user friendly.The developers understand very well the pain moments in startups. It helps reducing error and move with the smooth flow. **What do you dislike about Akitra?** I think learning curve for first time users, its the area that needs to be improved. **What problems is Akitra solving and how is that benefiting you?** Automation of workflows ### 3. There documentation work is excellent. **What do you dislike about Akitra?** It would have been good if Akitra would have told us about the minimum vnet/vm and cloud requirements to progress with Azure Certification. Since they would have allready dealt with many clients, they could have help us in Cloud settings too. **What problems is Akitra solving and how is that benefiting you?** Akitra has streamlined the process of Documentation for Security compliances. ### 6. You can also customize the control sets to your needs. Akitra is helpfull and will accomodate to your needs wherever possible when asking for customizations. They have helped when auditors pushed back on evidence and have taken care of most of the back and forth from the auditor, which usually takes a lot of time. **What do you dislike about Akitra?** The UX of the application is not the best but it is being improved upon. There's no publicly available API. When only using integrations this is however not an issue. **What problems is Akitra solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps with quickly obtaining a certification or attestation for any well known certification.
