I don’t like that we can’t view our Wholesale data because we aren’t selling through Shopify for both channels. We plan to change this in the future so we can use Akikumo with all of our data. The main issues it solves are calculating potential missed revenue, tracking when sizes run out of inventory, and providing sales data down to the color and size of categories or individual items. Akikumo has become a core part of how we run our storefront at Thread. It surfaces clear insights into what’s selling and what’s slowing down, and it even catches when ads and inventory fall out of sync—the kind of visibility that’s really hard to get from Shopify alone. The platform is easy to use, and it honestly feels like having a 24/7 merchandiser on the team. What do you dislike about Akikumo? Honestly, nothing comes to mind. We've been really happy with the platform and haven't run into any real pain points worth calling out. Shopify on its own doesn't do a great job connecting the dots between sales trends, ad performance, and inventory status. Things fall out of sync and issues slip through the cracks without anyone noticing. Akikumo fills that gap by acting as an always-on layer of merchandising intelligence, giving us the visibility we need to make smarter decisions without constantly digging through dashboards. Constant enhancements occurring that are both practical and valuable on a macro and micro level for site and product performance. The automated collection organization is a powerful tool, and the ability to quickly identify what's working vs what's not and implement a new test in real time is great.
