What do you like best about Akeneo PIM?

I love that Akeneo PIM is a source of truth for our group regarding marketing information about products. This allows us to secure and ensure the reliability of the transmission of product information shared with our markets and retailers/distributors. I particularly appreciate its intuitive interface, which makes it easily usable even for people without technical skills. The activation module is also a feature that I find very efficient. Easy implements using flexible import and export functionality

Extremely difficult to customize the UI or any features.

No backend access, so there is no ability to add features via code.

Permissions structure is not available on product associations.

What do you like best about Akeneo PIM?

Intuitive user interface. Great app store with connectors to most major adjacent technology providers (DAM, E-comm, CMS etc.). Fantastic for business users. Constantly innovating. Part of the MACH alliance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Akeneo PIM?

Very B2C/e-commerce focused. They have a number of B2B use cases, but could do so much more to add value in the B2B space and non-traditional sales channels (sales, service, partner portals etc.). They've acknowledged this and are taking steps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
