It's uptime is good. You will save a little penny over aws. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Akamai Cloud Computing? POOR SUPPORT, LACK OF ESSENTIAL OPERATIONAL OPTIONS. I started cloning a node, surprisingly it showed it will take 161 hours AFTER STARTING THE PROCESS. It's been two days, the cloning is stopping, it's only 43%. I opened a support ticket, no reply at all even after 2 days. In the meantime, i already cloned the whole node to another hosting which took only 5 hours or less. At this point I'm just paying Dedicated 32 GB for nothing and dont know how many hours i will have to pay :/ Why there is no STOP button on cloning? aint it essential? Linode was very helpful in the beginning, after the Akami acquisition, they have applied lots of hidden charges. Stay away! I was paying like less than 20 usd per month and for a few months later I notice I have been getting billing for 45 USD per month. They don't really care. 1) Support tickets get assigned to some else with every response 2) No real-time support. Ticket kept rolling for multiple days 3) Event Support, which was provided, is not good. Linode is relatively stable, and their pricing is good for the performance they offer. They have a long history, and they are not likely to go out of business soon. They and their customers have been hacked through vulnerabilities in their software. This is extremely unnerving, and we're moving to get off Linode.
