**What do you like best about AIVA?**

I like AIVA because it makes creating music much easier when I don’t already have a tune in mind. I can pick the style of music I’m looking for and quickly generate something that matches the mood, which is especially helpful when I need background music for my content.

**What do you dislike about AIVA?**

AIVA sometimes takes a bit of trial and error to get the exact sound I have in mind. Some of the generated tracks can also feel a little too similar to one another, so I often end up tweaking the settings or generating a few different versions until it lands where I want it.

**What problems is AIVA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AIVA helps me whenever I need suitable background music but don’t have the time or skills to compose it myself. I can quickly experiment with different styles and moods, which saves me time and makes it much easier to find music that fits my videos.

**What do you like best about AIVA?**

You can extract MIDI files of AIVA’s productions, opening them up in your Digital Audio Workstation (like FL Studio, Logic etc.), you are then able to manipulate individual note pitches, timings or chord progressions and instruments in the piece.

**What do you dislike about AIVA?**

As it relies heavily on users to input the chord sequences, tempos, and musical phrasing to guide the composition; it is more sophisticated than some instant chord generation softwares, and requires more inputs from the user.

**What problems is AIVA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In terms of how the software helped, it allowed me to instantly create impressive cinematic orchestral soundtracks and pieces that would otherwise have been inaccessible without orchestral scoring experience. The key challenge I ran into, as stated in the negative reviews was the need to avoid vocals to them, and also editing the generated music for a more natural "Human" feel needed additional post-production in another piece of editing software.
