With Airtame, you can project your screen (e.g., laptop, etc.) to a Smart TV using a wifi connection. It is a very fitting way to use during conference meetings. Even guests can have access to it when presenting their products. It supports different platforms (like Windows, iOS, Android). It saves time in setting up conference rooms before meetings. Recommendations to others considering AIRTAME: While face-to-face conference meetings in offices are almost non-existent during the pandemic, Airtame is still an excellent tool to consider for conference presentations. What problems is AIRTAME solving and how is that benefiting you? Airtame eliminates the usual problems when you extend your screen display to a monitor or a smart TV like defective or loose VGA or HDMI cables. It gets rid of the messy cabling that clutters the conference room during meetings. With Airtame, you can move freely while presenting. Makes the journey hassle-free for less tech-savvy people. 2. Screen sharing options are flexible 3. What do you dislike about AIRTAME? 1. No auto-disconnect option after ending the meeting in the meeting room. 2. Video clarity has to be improved as the page often breaks while presenting. 3. After introducing Airtame, it's easy for us to switch between meeting rooms and share the screen without any cable or heavy configurations. With Airtame, we are saving a lot of time in connecting/disconnecting the projector. It can be handled by any user even if s/he has little technology knowledge. Tech Support Specialist Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) 1/24/2021 "Loving the Airtame Experience" 5/5 What do you like best about AIRTAME? I love the advnacments Airtame has made over the years. The first generation was nice, but it was difficult getting them whitelisted on our network because the MAC address was nowhere on the package or device. G2 took care of that issue and then the latest with their signage capabilities and the ease of connecting to out-of-network devices. Loving our Airtames and look forward to what they have up their sleeve for the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about AIRTAME? The only complaint I can muster up is if the projector remains off for long periods of time the Airtame loses connectivity and needs to be unplugged, flipped 180 degrees and re-connected. We have well over a 100 and it gets trouble some when teachers fire up their projectors and they don't see a way to connect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is AIRTAME solving and how is that benefiting you? The biggest problem being solved is getting teachers unteathered from their desks. They can continue teaching and walking around the room without going back and forth to move forward with their lesson. Airtame works on a variety of different platforms and operating systems, and allows visitors, and in-house employees alike, to easily connect their device to a TV. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about AIRTAME? There was some difficulty in using multiple wireless networks to connect to the Airtame. Additionally, we have had some issues where the Airtame is not responsive where it needed to be unplugged and reconnected to the TV. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering AIRTAME: I recommend purchasing the ethernet connected Airtame, as well as utilizing the Power over Ethernet (PoE) that is available with the newer models. This will make setup easier and allow for more consistent use. Additionally this will give you the option of connecting your in-house network to Airtame as well as the ability to add a second guest network just for the Airtame. Prior to implementing Airtame we were limited to a wired HDMI connection or Bluetooth via Microsoft Windows 10 to connect to our TV. This left out Mac users, mobile users, those on previous versions of Windows, and some of our visitors who had older video interfaces on their devices. The Airtame 2 is much cheaper than supporting a full fledged PC in each conference room and more importantly, much easier to support. I am much happier spending my days on IT strategy instead of AV work. My employees got the hang of screen sharing with the Airtame in less than a week and use it for every meeting. My favorite part is that you can share your screen from any device easily - so in the same meeting we can show and tell what is happening in our MS Office documents from a laptop and our mobile apps on our iPhones. For smaller companies like ours, I would like to see a 3 or 5 pack with a small discount. I also think it would be nice if the windows application defaulted to opening in the background.
