## Airtable Reviews
 ### 1. Airtable Simplifies Complex Campaign Tracking with Linked Records and Shareable Views

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sabina K. | IT Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

Airtable has become our new savior in handling the insanely complicated content priority lists, providing our marketing department with a concise and well-structured overview of the campaigns, timeline, and asset position in a single platform. The linked record feature has been the strongest one and we are able to relate the similar data in different tables and the resultant duplication that led to errors in our reporting is avoided. There is also the capacity to provide filtered views to external stakeholders without providing a full-blown database access, which has also proven to be a feature that helps in collaboration with customers in a client-based scenario.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

Reporting and analytics are quite basic relative to the focused business intelligence tools, and you can hardly derive in-depth insights directly on your data. There is also poor functionality of the desktop experience on the mobile app, and handling and updating records on the go is more cumbersome than it is supposed to be.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable has addressed the issue of working with interconnected data which had been distributed across spreadsheets, emails and documents. This has enhanced accuracy in data and visibility of teams and we have been able to make decisions faster and more informed without having to waste time searching information in various sources.

 ### 2. Easy Automation, Minor AI Limitations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I find it easy to build automation and interfaces to share with stakeholders in Airtable. The automation helps in triggering status reports on a defined cadence, like daily or weekly. I can build logic to connect two different tables in the base workspaces. I appreciate the interfaces that provide a dashboard view in different formats, such as grids and records, and offer a lot of customization based on user access levels. It's also easy to navigate, which simplifies managing tasks.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

I would like to utilize the AI capabilities of Airtable to build a chatbot, but we are still exploring that side of the tool. Also, while it was easy to navigate Airtable, building complex formulas does require some expertise.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Airtable for inventory management, automation, and real-time visibility for stakeholders. It's easy to build automation and interfaces, which helps trigger status reports and customize dashboards.

 ### 3. Flexible and Powerful, but Pricing and Performance Could Improve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad S. | Growth Manager, Food & Beverages, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

UI/UX, integrations, performance, pricing and ROI, support and onboarding, and AI capabilities—without making each answer feel repetitive or overly detailed.
What I like best about Airtable is how flexible it is. It combines the simplicity of a spreadsheet with database features, automations, and integrations, making it easy to organize complex data and build workflows without heavy development

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

Airtable can become slower and harder to manage as bases grow. Pricing also increases quickly with more users and advanced features, while permissions, automation limits, and AI outputs can require extra setup and manual checking.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable helps us centralize data, automate repetitive tasks, and connect different tools in one workflow. This reduces manual errors, improves team visibility, and saves significant time, giving us a strong return without needing a fully custom system.

 ### 4. Build projects in the blink of an eye with AI-powered builder tools

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pablo F. | Full Stack Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

You can build small projects to track your project progress and automate company tasks easily using AI builder tools and prompts. I built a project portfolio tracker in seconds, and I’m using it to manage ongoing project progress and support team collaboration.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

Airtable is great for prototyping, MVPs, and small projects. However, if you want to scale your solution, it may not be ideal, since the paid plans increase per user and can get expensive. The mobile version also has some limitations, and users can’t access all the same functionality as on the web version.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me automate and manage company projects and products, giving me a quick overview of progress. I can easily contact my team and see which features and tasks they’re working on, along with the projects timeline.

 ### 5. Intuitive and Powerful: Airtable Streamlines Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

What I like best about Airtable is how intuitive and polished the platform feels from a UI/UX perspective. It gives you the flexibility of a database without making the experience overly technical, so teams can build workflows quickly without a steep learning curve. The customization options, views, and automations are easy to navigate, which makes adoption across teams much smoother.

I also appreciate the wide range of integrations and how well Airtable connects with other tools we use daily. Performance has been reliable even as workflows and data sets grow, and the platform delivers strong ROI because it reduces manual work and improves visibility across projects. Support resources and onboarding are well organized, making it easy to get new users up to speed. The newer AI capabilities are also a nice addition for summarizing data, generating insights, and helping teams work more efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

One downside is that Airtable’s pricing can rise quickly as teams grow and need more advanced automations, integrations, or additional user seats. Although the platform is very flexible, more complex workflows can still come with a learning curve before you can fully optimize them, especially for less technical users. Performance may also occasionally slow with very large bases or heavily customized setups, and some reporting or dashboard options can feel limited compared with dedicated BI tools. Additionally, while the AI features are promising, there’s still room for deeper intelligence and more advanced native functionality so you don’t have to rely as much on third-party integrations.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable helps solve challenges around workflow visibility, project coordination, and managing large amounts of client and operational data across teams. As an account manager, it has improved organization by centralizing information, automating repetitive processes, and reducing reliance on spreadsheets and scattered communication. The integrations and automation capabilities save time on reporting, task management, and follow-ups, while the intuitive UI makes collaboration much easier across departments. This has led to better efficiency, faster execution, improved client communication, and stronger overall productivity and ROI for the team.

 ### 6. Great for Organization, Limited for Large Datasets

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jen B. | Senior Researcher | Team Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I use Airtable for manuscript collaborations, and I appreciate that it helps me keep things organized and quickly identify which areas of a task or job need more attention. I like that there's a free plan for individuals or small groups, which is handy when research funds are tight. The platform is easy to use, and I find the visuals basic but useful. I especially like the linked tables for showing structure and relationships, the variable views for seeing the same data in different ways, which is decision-relevant, and the status workflow view to track what's completed.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

Well, it doesn't handle large datasets (such as metagenome data) and it's not a repo for that. So it's not good for formal science record keeping or storage.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Airtable for manuscript collaborations, keeping things organized, and quickly identifying task areas needing attention. It supports easy iteration tracking and offers useful visualizations, which help in decision making with its variable views and linked tables.

 ### 7. Versatile Views Elevate Content Planning

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tara B. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I found Airtable to be a great way to store all our asset information and map that out with a production timeline using the different views. The views were really helpful to visually digest the information depending on the use case, whether for video production or social media posts, and they each had different ways of viewing that fit the content type. It was a useful tool for showcasing these projects. I also appreciated how simple the initial setup was. Airtable's multiple views were a positive change from Trello's kanban style, which was a key feature that drew us to it.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

Airtable did not scale into a project management tool, which was what we ended up needing. At the time of using it did not fit right, but looking at some templates that exist now, it looks like they have improved in this.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Airtable to store asset information and map it on a production timeline. Its different views help visually digest information fitting each content type, making it useful for planning content production and scheduling.

 ### 8. Airtable Keeps Our Workflow and Procurement on Track

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kunal K. | Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

As a service based startup we use airtable maximum for managing our companies workflow and do all the data entry related work for inventories on its software. This tool helps us in making sure that all the procurement purchase of our business is done properly on time and maintained with the sheet that it provides.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

One of the major complain that I have with Airtable software is that it's user interfaces is quite Complex and also it is not compatible on my mobile phone. There is no application available that supports Android or iOS devices to access it from anywhere you will have to use it on a browser and from your desktop device only.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As this tool works in the format of rows and columns so all data that are related to our business is updated on its advance sheets which are an alternative of MS Excel. We also use it on a everyday basis to manage the complete work for our business and make sure that each and every department of our company can share information from each other.

 ### 9. Versatile Tool for Organized and Visually Appealing Data Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaitlyn B. | Owner, Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I like that Airtable offers so many features to build off of my own forms, organize data, and collaborate with others. It greatly improves on the standard spreadsheet for organizing information. I love the automatic color coding the most, as it makes the information more visually appealing and saves me time since I used to do this manually on other platforms. Airtable allows me to put more information into the form while maintaining visual appeal and without it becoming too messy or ugly.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

I feel like there is a bit of a learning curve for more of the advanced features. I have yet to figure out how to integrate them because I don't know if I have the time to learn.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Airtable to organize information without it becoming messy, and I like its features for building forms, organizing data, and collaborating. It improves on standard spreadsheets.

 ### 10. Advanced Database Solution That Outshines Excel

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Umesh K. | IT Team, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

For us airtable is a Advance Database that helps in storing our customers information and works like a spreadsheet or you can say that it's an advance version of MS Excel that manages different type of data in a format of rows and column along with informative analytics when they are compiled.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

Applying formulas is one of the most difficult part according to my experience on this software because there are different type of formulas and you won't be able to understand where to use which formula and their user interface is also quite complex for beginners. You will need a proper training to understand it's usability professionally.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This software help us in organising all of our day to day data and also manages information related to our bookings and services after we have installed airtable in our business, we have been able to manage all the finances and operational details better and even access old data just in few clicks in our system.

 ### 11. Customizable Dashboards with Smooth Setup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SABRINE K. | Java Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I really like Airtable's customizable interfaces that turn a normal database into a customized app dashboard. The drag-and-drop feature for attachments makes adding files directly into each cell easy and clear. It's fun to use because of the vibrant colors and cool icons in its user-friendly visuals. Additionally, Airtable's advanced reporting and custom dashboards were key reasons for switching from Trello. The setup was easy too, thanks to its user-friendly design.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

There's a huge difference between the free tier, which has limited records, and the paid tier.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable solves duplicate data issues and provides dynamic views, unlike flat spreadsheets.

 ### 12. User-Friendly Data Management with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** DineshKanna C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I like the filter options in Airtable because it offers a good amount of bifurcation, allowing me to view data period wise and amount wise. This helps me filter under particular tags and easily rectify it with the books if it is properly maintained. Additionally, the initial setup was pretty good and user-friendly, enabling me to migrate data very fast.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

I'm missing the filter option in the new table setup. If it is enabled in the new table, it will be good.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable helps me find data month-wise and tag expenses, making it easy to identify transactions. This streamlines sharing data with my accounting team by clarifying what expenses were incurred.

 ### 13. Advanced Data Management Made Easy with Powerful AI Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sumit K. | Finance Team Leader, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

One of the most advanced and smartest data management tool that I have ever used. As we have been using airtable from last 3 years and the AI based features that it has to organise and hold data on its cloud storage is on next level it is quite simple and easy to add different type of data which is done through table and sheets and get detailed Analytics when needed.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

As earlier we used to do all the data storage and sheets maintenance on MS Excel but after we have started airtable the overall monthly cost of maintaining the software has also increased and the complex user interface is challenging for us to teach about it's usability to our new interns. This is a modern and feature packed platform.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Handling our business data is one of the biggest operational challenge that we face on a daily basis and airtable makes sure that each and every data of our company is being maintained properly and stored without any manual maintenance. This platform make sure that each and every document is safe and stored properly and can be acessesd when needed.

**Reviewed by:** Elman M. | Team Lead, Outsourcing/Offshoring, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2026

We used this mainly to have documentation in one same place without going through folders. This is a great tool to keep track of every document, every meeting or coaching session, it provides great tools to help visualization be smoother, everything is well organized, highly customizable, easy to implement, has a great customer support, and it is easy to integrate with other tools such as G-Sheets, Docs, etc.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

Interface is not very user-friendly, it is very difficult to navigate through it and also takes time to get used to it. also mobile application is not as smooth as desktop version,

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly to have our documentation in one single place, so whenever is needed by anyone from our team is easy to access it.

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I love the AI feature for creating automations or rules. It’s very intuitive and easy to use, and it makes the setup process quick.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

Learning how to incorporate the bases and layers can feel cumbersome, and it really requires you to teach yourself. There’s a lot of trial and error involved before it starts to make sense.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m able to create individual dashboards for our notaries so they can track their stats and see where they can improve.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tamara G. | Business Development Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I really appreciate how Airtable syncs and saves all the data for account holders. I also love building custom apps without needing any coding, which allows me to tailor them to our workflow. It's great that Airtable combines everything, solving the need to use many other programs or apps to track various account information.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

I think the app can be improved with saving data and it lags. Sometimes it doesn't save in real time. It did take time to adjust to, but not too much trouble.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Airtable to consolidate tracking customer account info, syncing and saving data seamlessly. It lets me build custom apps without coding, tailoring workflows effectively.

 ### 18. Flexible Sheets and Handy Column Tools, But Slow at Times and Free Plan Feels Limited

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I like that the sheets can be adjusted and converted. Also the editing and sorting of the columns is nice. Getting the account and everything set up is also very quick and easy.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

It can be a little slow at sometimes also the limits on the free accounts are pretty low so definitely have to pay if you want full feature access.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Can create sheets and easily sort the information in them also can export them to a CSV if needed for any integrations and thats very helpful as well. Also I like that you can sort the sheets into different workspaces to help with better organization.

 ### 19. Intuitive and visual interface that combines spreadsheet and database

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

The ability to combine the simplicity of a spreadsheet with the power of a relational database, all within an intuitive, highly visual, and easy-to-use interface.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

For some users, it can be difficult to understand how to structure relational databases if they are not familiar with or accustomed to working with Excel.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The best thing about Airtable, from my point of view, is that it allows you to centralize data that is normally scattered among emails, separate Excels, project management tools, and notes. By organizing information and automating repetitive tasks, it saves time in operational management and makes it easier to keep everything organized.

 ### 20. Airtable is an intuitive tool with limited functionality

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

Airtable is an easy to use database collaboration software. It's easy to collaborate on a BOM within an engineering team as long at it's not a large team. I really like that you can make personalised views with custom filterings.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

Airtable is expensive for start-ups when the team becomes larger. Export functionalities are limited. Adding documents to airtable is not recommended to do. Complex formulas are not possible in Airtable. UI can be a bit non-intuitive.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to make a bill of materials (BOM) for our hardware product, which was intially doable within Airtable. However, you quickly notice that the functionalities are limited for this purpose.

 ### 21. User-Friendly with a Professional Touch, but Pricing Constraints

I mainly use Airtable for filling out forms and creating them. I like its clean, professional look and find the software user-friendly when filling something out or needing someone else to fill out an application. I appreciate the ease of flow and how easy it is to create a form. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

The price and constraints are a bit of a downside. You can only have so many people fill out or help create a form for free, which almost forces you into upgrading.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Airtable gives a clean, professional look and is user-friendly when creating or filling out forms.

 ### 22. Streamlined Project Management with Ease

 ### 23. Airtable: Centralized Data Management with Flexible Views and Seamless Integrations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vikas G. | Senior Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

1. I like the fact that Airtable can be used as the central foundation for storing data coming in from different sources and manage them in different tables.
2. Second most loved feature is the ability to switch between multiple data views as Gantt Charts, Kanban or Grid.
3. It is user friendly to use
4. It offers great integration libraries to establish a one-way or 2-way sync between different software systems.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

1. Pricing is a bit overwhelming.Free and lower plans have imposed limits on storign the multi media files that can be a bottleneck.
2. Airtable is totally cloud based solution which might lead to high infrastructure cost and sometimes limit the data accessibility in offline situations as they don't offer any off-cloud services.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a proejct manager, it greatly helps to manage the end-to-end implementation plan for a project by allowing to build relational databases. Moreover the emerging AI offering are coming into help by automating some intensely repetitive tasks.

I find Airtable more flexible than prebuilt products with zero code. It helps me go from concept to implementation quickly and offers a great workflow with a slick interface.

 ### 25. Expensive and Less User-Friendly Than Asana, Lacking Task Completion tick button

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christelle I. | Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

- Ease of integration, yes
- We use it as a ticketing system, it provided us a way to automate escalation of tickets
- Nice kankban view for a ticketing system

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

- There is no ticking project to complete, you have to update the status by selecting
- It doesn't provides props when you complete a task
- It is expensive
- I don't find it very user friendly compared to asana

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. It's solving the streamlining of customer support at my organization. We are able to easily customize it to support us in the needs we have in a support system.
2. It is a central place where we are putting all our partner's projects and saving insights easily for future use. We are also able to connect it to different dashboard. It's really solving the problem of fragmented systems that were being used for the different streams of work we have. It has become one central place from which we use for surveys, insights, project and task tracking, integration with our weekly mailers for compiled data analysis, etc.

 ### 26. Flexible and Customizable Tool That Adapts to My Needs

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

It’s flexible and adapts to my needs. I can easily design the tool I need.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

What we don't like is that the mobile interface is not fully functional.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Team collaboration is very simple: sharing data and having it all located in the same place is easy and practical.

 ### 27. The one Saas subscription I couldn't see myself cancelling

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean P. | Marketing Advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

Airtable allows me the ability to quickly set up basic systems for myself or clients that function the way I want them to – without having to go out and add another subscription to my budget.

I've built simple yet robust apps ranging from task management, CRMs, content management, and more.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

Airtable's pricing model is unreasonable for many potential customers. I find it works really well for soloists with one or two teammates, and it works well for enterprise companies – but not for those in between.

And unfortunately, it's also unreasonable for agencies and consultants like myself. I have an Airtable Business account, yet if a client adds me to their workspace, they are required to pay for an additional seat.

Tools like Webflow allow "freelancers" or "agencies" to be added to client workspaces if they have an existing paid account –– Airtable would be wise to adopt this.

I would recommend Airtable to *nearly* everyone if it wasn't for their pricing model that intentionally leaves out customers who could greatly benefit from the tool.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can setup a feature-rich database with in-app automations very quickly, without needing to code.

 ### 28. Centralizes Data Efficiently, UI Could Be Enhanced with AI

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rosario T. | People Team Lead, Investment Banking, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I like Airtable's easy UX, which makes it straightforward to use. The platform allows for good permissions management, ensuring appropriate access levels for different users. Additionally, I've never had any technical issues with it, which is reassuring.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

I think that the price is a bit elevated, and I also believe that sometimes it would be nice to have more AI features.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable helps my teams centralize data in one system, supporting remote work across different scopes.

 ### 29. Great Tool with Integration Perks, Needs Better Handling of Large Data

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prem L. | Designing Team, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I use Airtable as an advanced Excel sheet for our business, which can hold large data and automate tasks. I like its integration feature with Google tools and Slack. It helps in accessing data from these platforms and accommodating them in a tabular form.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

I have experienced lagging issues with Airtable when handling large data files. This issue repeats when we try to generate advanced analytics and reports of large databases.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Airtable as an advanced Excel sheet, managing large data and automating tasks. It organizes multiple data types in a single sheet efficiently.

 ### 30. Easy to Use and a Big Upgrade from Spreadsheets

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amber K. | Director of Produ t, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

It's fairly easy to use, and so much better than a spreadsheet.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

I wouldn't say dislike, but as with many tools, it can take some time to learn how to use it without overcomplicating things.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable works as a content database, allowing for content tracking, tagging, and overall publication. It also works as a way to track and visualize data.

 ### 31. Streamlined Data Management with Cost Concerns

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sonu K. | Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I like Airtable for its data management and automation which has cut down the manual work of maintaining spreadsheets. The ability to switch between different grids to view data in various forms is the best feature. The initial setup was quite simple, and it took about seven days to be fully functional for our company.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

For us the pricing of this tool was really on higher side and it was difficult to manage the expenses in the long run.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Airtable for managing leads and customer information, simplifying data automation, and reducing manual spreadsheet work. It aids in team collaboration and allows switching between grids to view data in different forms.

 ### 32. Smooth, Simple Navigation, Great at what it does!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert H. | Technical Support Tech, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

Flows nicely honestly. It is simple to navigate and use.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

It is good at what it does. Tend to run into issues if you try to get it to be too much more than that.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

inventory tracking. Was Teeerrrriiibllleee before. Really like the ability to have drop down fields for employees and statuses for computer setups. Its been a super helpful tool!

 ### 33. Airtable Streamlines Lead Management and Enhances Customer Experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rani N. | Digital Marketing, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

Airtable is the one place we collect all out leads, and students with the ability to filter, sort and create automation so we can provide better customer experience, very easy to use and integrates well with our forms.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

The mobile experience is not as great as the desktop application, a little hard to update leads

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable is used as our CRM, we collect the leads there as well as keeping our students records to give us visibility on their progress

 ### 34. A great tool, with some caveats

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noah N. | Systems Builder and Integrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

Airtable makes it easy for non-technical people to post, control, and work with their company's data. We've been working with Airtable for just under a year now, currently on the Business plan. Our organization has around 25 people, and we have a lot of bases. It's been a huge upgrade over our history of using CRMs as data management tools, and we've fully replaced tools like Trello. We set a major goal last year to unify our divisions and workspaces to use a single source of truth, and Airtable has generally been perfect for this goal.

Interfaces - Interfaces are generally great! They give us a means to build custom business logic and interactive pages without too much fuss, no code needed. Interfaces in their current form are good for nearly everything we need and make our employees more effective, obscuring out the spreadsheet-like base for a more familiar SaaS dashboard like experience.

The ability to create public views without adding seats has been great. If we need to share information about our products with contractors, customers, etc, we can do this safely.

AI fields are generally good under specific use cases. For example, if you needed to translate a product description to Spanish, or parse out the first and last names from a messy full name field where traditional techniques are unreliable.

Realtime collaboration features - Bit of a pro and a con. Text fields are collaborative, like a google doc. This is great if multiple people are collaborating on assets, eliminating the annoyance of saving work constantly. The downside is that this makes webhook based change triggers impossible without custom infrastructure. More on this in the dislike section.

Native twilio text sending automation actions have been a huge time saver.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

Monthly automation limits, unbelievably low automation limit per base, native automation editor doesn't solve the majority of the problems we have without exfiltrating to a third party platform like n8n or pipedream. Ability to run custom scripts helps a lot, but the automation limit is a hard thing to work around without two-way sync.
Too many features locked behind paid plans

Interfaces are generally good, but the inability to inject custom JS/HTML makes me hesitate to use interfaces for complex projects. I've built many websites that use the API to interface with data because interfaces just aren't robust enough.

Difficult to work with webhook behaviours - Because the updates to records are realtime, it's not straightforward to rely on webhooks to notice changes to records as one would do with most other tools. It can be done, but airtable sends the webhooks as chunks of changes, so it's on your developers to parse out the changes over time that you may need for analytics or triggering workflows in third party platforms. We're unfortunately limited to techniques like clustering and polling to observe changes, potentially restricting execution speeds when we're working with third party tools to get around the issues with native automations.

Omni - Lately, Airtable's been pushing their upgraded AI agent, claiming it's capable of building business-ready automations, bases, and interfaces. This has been entirely untrue in my experience. Every single time I've used Omni, it's either been incapable of performing the task or built something that simply doesn't work or build infrastructure that you can't work with long term. The pressure to use Omni continues to increase with every update, and every time I try it again, it fails.

Recent UI changes - Bit of a sore subject for those in my organization who build stuff. When you're working with multiple bases, it used to be pretty easy to tell which one you were in based on the header color. This has been removed, making more room for the unhelpful Omni tool.

Record Limits - Not a problem for our organization so far, but this may make certain projects not feasible.

Portals are too expensive - Portals is a feature intended to allow you to share the ability to see and edit base data without paying for a full seat and maintain branding, which is excellent! Unfortunately, it's very expensive and therefore makes little sense competitively. Much of what we would be interested in using Portals for, we can't justify because of the price. Instead we work around it with tools like Fillout or Softr.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The big reason we switched to Airtable was to create a single source of truth on projects and deals. Records and information that are shared and need to be atomic across multiple divisions. To this end, it's been perfect. It's also flexible enough to work with every other system we've needed it to work with, if you're able to build custom scripts.

 ### 35. Flexible Views That Empower Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad Faiz M. | Assistant Manager, Technology & Innovation, Consulting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I love that it bridges the gap between the flexibility of spreadsheets and the structure of databases. The ability to create different views (grid, kanban, calendar, gallery) of the same data is particularly powerful for teams who work in different ways.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

The mobile app is just terrible. It`s super limited compared to the web version - it's more about viewing and light editing than full functionality.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool assists me in planning, collecting data, and managing as well as linking different types of data from all the various programs I have previously overseen.

 ### 36. A useful database tool

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katya S. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I appreciate the power of Airtable to allow our team to collaborate and manage data on the many ways we interact with our audience. I especially appreciate being able to connect contacts across bases. In our organization, we use forms a lot as a way to register for events (both in person and virtual) and I appreciate how seamlessly Airtable helps us create outreach lists from our database of contacts, track which of these contacts register for the meeting, and allows us to collect and save information on these contacts.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

I appreciate the updates to forms that allows us to embed links and increase the formatting potential of these forms - this was lacking in the old forms. The features I would most like to see added are:
- A way to attach calendar invitations to automations (so that when people register for something, it can be added to their calendar, whether Outlook, gmail, etc)
- Better options for adding logos and graphics to forms, both the size of the file allowed and ability to edit its appearance on the page. We often have a background image that's good for this, but the file size is very limited and then we are unable to adjust it's positioning on the page, so the text is often cut off at weird places.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable helps us collect, save, and use data on our customer base. We're also working on how to better use it to manage our time as a team. I would like to explore more project management tool options.

 ### 37. Airtable get's what we need done quickly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott B. | Digital Media Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

The flexibility of the databases is immensely helpful to fill our various needs. It helps in maintaining and organizing inventory items and creating kits that we check out. We were even able to create some rudimentary "apps" with easily customizable forms that people can fill out putting things directly where they need to be so that it can be evaluated and manipulated. I feel as I learn more about Airtable the more use cases I find for it. Then I can just throw something together and test it out. And if I have trouble make it work the Customer support has been amazing in getting back to me and helping me solve my issue.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

They just added AI and it will generate things and can make a jumping off point a little easier but of the more complex calculations don't work so I have to spend alot of time figuring out what the AI did to make it work the way I want it to. I am not sure it saves time. I often have to deal with generic dates and time and but they have a very precise way of dealing with the time. You can use lots of invisible and hidden fields to get time working the way you want it to but maybe some pre-made function to like work with week days instead of specific day.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Airtable to have Instruction Request form that then allows us to manage the schedule, we also use it as an inventory platform for our equiment and I occationally will create a survery with it.

 ### 38. Extremely useful. Way more pros than cons.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cory J. | IT Admin, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

Airtable combines the functionality of a database with the ease of a spreadsheet. It's really the best of both worlds. I've been using it for years, both professionally and personally. It's very easy to learn and even more so if you're technically minded. I've only had to contact support a few times, and it was for something I didn't know how to do; not an issue with the platform.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

Its biggest drawback is the lack of conditional logic options in forms. Occasionally, I've started out using Airtable but had to switch to Jotform since it has more conditional logic options. Most of my other "pain points" are visual, like not being able to word wrap column text. There have also been a few times over the years where it didn't have the exact functionality I wanted, but that was solved with future enhancements.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it as an employee database containing the info I need as an IT Admin to setup new users on various platforms.

 ### 39. Intuitive Lead Management, Needs Better Automation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joana V.

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I like how everything is very easy to find and update in Airtable. The flexibility makes managing my data a breeze. Airtable keeps all my leads data super organized and easily accessible, making it simple to track and qualify them without losing anything. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

Maybe when I set up automations, it's not very super intuitive.. It would be great if they would have step-by-step tutorials or even some templates!

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Airtable to keep all my leads data in one place, super organized and easily accessible. It's easy to track and qualify them without losing anything.

 ### 40. Endless Possibilities and Functionality

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael S. | Senior Director of Data and Strategy, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I like the automations and integrations that are possible. We have an on premises database and use Crystal Reports for most of our reporting, but through Make integrations I've been able to get some data from our database into Airtable, which then allows for endless functionality (including texting!). I use integrations daily to help me with certain tasks.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

I will say that getting set up on the Business account took some time, including customer support being a little slow to respond. There's also a quite a steep learning curve without too much helpful documentation if you are using external solutions like Make. It's also not exactly the easiest to set up. I use AI to help set up a lot of my projects.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automations have been huge. Importing data through Make into Airtable allows me to get access to insights and connect with clients.

 ### 41. Powerful, Flexible, and Surprisingly Easy to Scale

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maggie M. | Substitute Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

Its flexibility and structure.
Airtable gives you the best of both worlds: the familiarity of a spreadsheet with the power of a relational database. I can link subs to jobs, roll up how many jobs they’ve filled, and filter or sort based on nearly any criteria — without writing code. The ability to automate workflows (like sending job claim confirmations or alerting admins) adds real efficiency, and the Interfaces tool makes it feel like a custom-built dashboard tailored for my school.

Plus, being able to customize field types, control visibility, and align the look with Brownell Talbot’s branding gives it a professional polish that you don’t get with a plain spreadsheet.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

Limited design customization and pricing limitations.
While Airtable is powerful, it can feel visually rigid — especially if you're trying to make it match a specific brand or website aesthetic. Interface Designer has come a long way, but it still lacks font customization, finer layout control, and public-facing design polish (without third-party tools like Softr).

Also, some of the most useful features (automations, Interfaces, advanced filtering) are capped on the free plan, which makes it hard to scale without upgrading — even if you're just one person building something small but high-functioning.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable has allowed me to build a substitute portal for my substitute teacher roster at my school.

 ### 42. Flexible and User-Friendly Platform That Adapts to Any Workflow

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wyatt B. | Business manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

What I like best about Airtable is how easy it is to customize and build workflows without needing technical skills. It combines the simplicity of a spreadsheet with the power of a database, making it perfect for project tracking, content planning, and collaboration. The interface is intuitive, drag and drop friendly, and supports views like Grid, Kanban, Calendar, and Gantt so each team can work the way they prefer.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

While Airtable is powerful, some of the more advanced features like syncing between bases or custom scripting are locked behind higher tier plans. Also, when bases grow very large, performance can slow down a bit. But for most use cases especially for small and mid-sized teams, these aren’t major issues.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable solves the problem of disorganized workflows and scattered data across tools. Instead of using separate spreadsheets, task trackers, and note apps, we now manage everything from campaigns to internal operations in one place. It improves team alignment, reduces duplication of work, and allows us to easily share structured data in a visually clear and editable format.

 ### 43. Airtable: Powerful, Simple, and Flexible—But with Limits

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin R. | Founder & President, Aviation & Aerospace, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

Airtable offers an excellent combination of features, simplicity, and ease of use. It’s intuitive enough to get started quickly while still powerful for more complex needs. Recently, we needed to create a customer-facing portal so clients could view specific data. We built the portal over a single weekend, and it exceeded the customer’s expectations for that project. The speed and flexibility Airtable provided made the entire process seamless.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

The pricing can be steep, especially as your usage grows. The 200,000-record cap can also be limiting for larger projects. Additionally, it would be great to have more robust interface design options and for the platform to be more mobile-friendly.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable solves the problem of organizing, managing, and sharing data in a way that’s both flexible and user-friendly, without requiring deep technical skills.

 ### 44. Efficient, Integrative Project Management with Airtable

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon G.

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I find Airtable amazing for project management work. I like the fact that we can integrate it with other systems, which helps, especially by using systems like ChatGPT to enhance our project management. The initial setup of Airtable is super simple, and it works really great on our systems.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

No, its a great piece of software

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Airtable for sharing information with colleagues. It's amazing for project management, and I love that we can integrate it with other systems like AI models, which helps enhance our project management.

 ### 45. Great for External Collaboration and Deadline Reminders

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brianne C. | Assistant Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

The ability to work on a project collaboratively with partners outside of my organization. It was easy and intuitive to use.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

Based on my personal project needs, I don't think I was able to take full advantage of all that the application could offer.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allowed me to partner with colleagues overseas and effectively and efficiently work on a project together in real time. It was helpful to receive notifications based on task deadlines and keep track of deliverables by department and project member.

 ### 46. Flexible and Powerful—Airtable Replaces Multiple Tools Effortlessly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Himanshu S. | SEO Lead, Education Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

What I like best about Airtable is its flexibility. It feels like a simple spreadsheet, so everyone on my team can jump in without a learning curve, but it’s powerful enough to replace multiple tools.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

Pricing is one of the drawback of this tool.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable has become the central hub for organizing and managing our entire SEO workflow, which used to be scattered across Google Sheets

 ### 47. Dynamic version of Google Sheets

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Calvin L. | Founder, Human Resources, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

Customisable with powerful database capabilities.

Flexible viewing options make it easy to visualise and organise information.

Linking records across tables gives it relational database power, and beyond linking across table, easy integrations with other tools.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

Too many options makes using it a bit more complex. Feel like I am not fully utilising it but at the same time it requires time commitment to learn all the functions.

API call limits on the free plan can be restrictive.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manage a database of trainee coaches, including their credentials, hours, and availability.

Keep an organised record of payments, sessions, and onboarding status.

Replace static spreadsheets with a more dynamic system that allowed for linked records and easy updates.

 ### 48. Highly Customizable with Flexible Views for Every User

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Beatriz M. | Administrative assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

Love it, it’s customizable to your needs, can create different views for different users

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

It’s not that easy to start using to its full capacity

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Different views allowed me to share information with different teams and allow them to see only the information they needed

 ### 49. Airtable Makes Team Rollouts Simple and Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Investment Banking | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

Airtable is an easy-to-understand, easy-to-use tool that helps us implement and roll out things to our team.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

Airtable can become costly as teams scale, often slows down with large data sets and complex automations, and lacks the depth of a true relational database for advanced reporting and data integrity.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it in conjunction with GitHub and Vercel to create interactive platforms for our team to track staffing availability.

 ### 50. Airtable is a powerful database tool

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I use Airtable for complex database management where I need multiple tables that cross-reference each other. Automations and forms provide additional functionality that allows you to take a more hands-off approach. Airtable's interface is fairly simple but there is a lot of power hiding under the hood. I have integrated Airtable with Wordpress in order to manage content for websites with extensive libraries with complex taxonomy. I have also used Airtable for years to easily manage my business's cash flow in a simple interface that allows me to cross-reference revenue YOY for each client.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

I have struggled with complicated workflows where multiple automations sometimes conflict. The learning curve can also be fairly steep - I use Airtable with a lot of clients, and need to do a lot of hand-holding to get them up to speed. Airtable forms can also be improved, I have had to set up integrations in some cases as the native Airtable forms can be slow to load when there are multiple linked-record fields.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable is primarily used for managing complex databases for content and project management purposes.
