best about Airbyte? Airbyte has made our data integration workflow a lot simpler. The open-source nature means we're not locked into a vendor, and the range of pre-built connectors saved us a ton of engineering time we would've otherwise spent building custom pipelines. The Connector Builder is especially useful when we needed a source that wasn't already in their catalog and we could get something working without writing much code at all. Setup was smooth, and their documentation is clear enough that we rarely needed to reach out to support. Would recommend to any team looking for a flexible, scalable ELT solution. The learning curve can be a bit steep when setting up more complex or custom connectors, especially if you're not already familiar with the CDK. Some connectors also have occasional syncing issues or rate-limit errors with third-party APIs, which sometimes need manual troubleshooting. Documentation is generally good, but for lesser-used connectors it can feel a bit thin. Would love to see faster sync performance for very large datasets as well. Airbyte is helping us consolidate data from multiple sources (databases, SaaS tools, APIs) into a single warehouse without needing to build and maintain custom ETL scripts for each one. Before, our team was spending a lot of time writing and maintaining one-off integration scripts, which made things fragile whenever an API changed. With Airbyte, we get pre-built, maintained connectors, so our engineers can focus on actually analyzing the data instead of just moving it around. With Airbyte, we have a standardized way to ingest data from all these sources into our warehouse on a regular schedule, so downstream dashboards and analytics are always working off a single, trusted model. The capacity-based pricing also removes a lot of friction, we can onboard new sources and increase sync frequency within our volume without having to constantly renegotiate per-connector or per-row costs. We can increase sync frequency during key campaigns, spin up new sources to test channels, and enrich our customer journeys, all without turning every idea into a budget approval process. We have considered using Airbyte after few unsuccessful attempts with other approaches while syncing data between legacy systems and new data warehouse. We found it very easy to setup, monitor and maintain. Currently we are running 20 different data sync connections and it still cost less then coding even a one application by ourself. Top benefits of using Airbyte: 1. easy to start using it, 2. many connectors, 3. monitoring in the place, 4. cost saving, 5. trusted service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
