It is mainly thought to run in batch mode, not in continuous mode, it is necessary to program special code, it also needs to run in foreground and the code can be visible. It would be nice to be able to compile the project to be used by third people, not only with AIMMS PRO. It would be nice to have other communication protocols, like OPC. For small business, it is not easy to use since AIMMS PRO is not necessary and may be so expensive.
