It feels like having a calm, senior engineer sitting next to me during code reviews. Instead of yelling about every possible issue, Aikido focuses on the things that actually matter. The low noise is a huge deal for us, because once a tool starts crying wolf, engineers stop listening. I also really like how we can encode our own standards and domain knowledge as custom rules. What do you dislike about Aikido Security? If I had to nitpick, the value of some advanced features like custom rules is not obvious immediately. Instead of drowning us in false positives, Aikido helps us focus on the issues that actually matter and catch them before they hit production. It’s easy to use and saves time with Autofix. The AI does make a few errors, but they’re easy to ignore. It’s simple to integrate with GitHub and VS Code, and the scans are quick and satisfactory. We’re a two-person startup, but the minimum subscription is for 10 users. Also, $350/month is significant at our stage. Snyk charges $25/month per developer, so it offers a lot more flexibility.
