"The only product management software"

What do you like best about Aha!?

Aha! enables Product Management professionals to easily gather feedback, formulate goals and strategic initiatives and tie that all back to structured solution requirements. It empowers product teams to organize and govern all of the things required for products to be successful.

Other considerations:

- Customer support is top notch

- Implementation is completely within your control as the tool is highly customizable and flexible. This can work against you if you don't have experience with the tool so it's best to resist the temptation to over configure the product and refine after use.

- Integrations with SSO, engineering and support tools are easy to configure and support Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aha!?

The downside of Aha! is that not all features and functions are included in the base price. I understand the pricing model but am not a fan of paying for individual features or add ons when the monthly cost is already not cheap. I just want to pay one (low) rate and get it all. "Great Product Management tool for Roadmaps and Managing Customer Ideas"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Aha!?

The Aha Platform is extremely customizable. It is easy to align to the needs of various teams, whether through templates, terminology, layouts, and other customizations. Also, we have received great support from the Aha! team. Our concierge is always responsive and provides helpful advice on our complex use cases.

Addiitonally, the Aha! team was exceptionally helpful with guidance on successful implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aha!?

Our main pain point is the lack of integration into the Google Suite - Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, etc. We are happy with the product capabilities that Aha provides. However, there is a challenge in communicating that broadly to leadership given the desire to have this data integrated into our standard company-wide tools. We use the G Suite of products predominantly across the organization, but Aha offers no integration capabilities with the G Suite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes convoluted with settings upon settings, it often makes sense but requires learning effort and help consultation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Appreciate Aha's Support Team for Fixing My Error"
5/5
What do you like best about Aha!?

We all know that Aha is easy to use - but do you know that their Support Team is top-notch? I wasn't paying attention and accidentally marked all customer suggestions as something we will not ever do.

Upon realizing my error, I reached out to Aha's Support group. They quickly grasped the issue and went to work on how to fix my mistake.

I'd like to give a big shout-out to Brittany and Johnathon in Support. They fixed my error quickly!

Thank you again! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The only solution for PMs"
5/5
What do you like best about Aha!?

Aha! has a wide feature set specific to the needs of product managers. It allows teams to capture strategy at different levels of the business, plan the work needed to deliver that strategy, link the work to strategy and roll-up thorugh the business, visualise those plans with roadmaps, analytics tools, dashboards and presentations and capture and curate the ideation process. There is no alternative for people who want a meaninful, enterprise Product Management tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aha!?

Our PM organisation is supported by a huge programme management operation. Getting Aha! to work for programme managers is very difficult. Setting up Aha! for programme managers is more of a hack than a natural fit, difficult for those teams to undersand and somewhat disjointed. It's an area that needs specific focus from the Aha! PM team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Aha is the All-in-One Product Management application"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Aha!?

Aha's most effective strength lies in its capability to simplify the whole product management lifecycle. From idea creation to roadmap planning as well as release management, Aha provides a complete collection of tools that effortlessly integrate into a cohesive workflow. The platform's user-friendly program makes sure that teams can easily adopt and get around through its attributes, which makes it available to both experienced product managers and those new to the industry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aha!?

Although Aha provides an intensive number of features, there are some parts in which it could be improved. One aspect which could benefit from improvement is the learning curve for first-time end users. Aha's comprehensive feature set may at first overwhelm users who're new to product management applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Aha is my go to choice for product roadmap and vision"
5/5
What do you like best about Aha!?

I love the configurability of the product. Anyone can configure the various objects, UI screens and every thing else to their own specific use case. This is what made Aha my default option after trying various tools out there. I brought Aha to 3 companies so far along with me and I am excited to see where the product would go from here on. Top of my mind is Salesforce integration to tie epics to opportunities. We don't use ideas and to use SF integration, we are forced to use ideas Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid product roadmapping solution with an impressive support team backing it"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Aha!?

There is a large amount of customization to meet your business needs while adding enough structure to provide guidance. Compared to roadmapping in Azure Devops (which can be tricky to handle and understand for leadership), it checks most of the boxes you'll need for a reliable roadmapping tool. It also provides a flexible framework for integrating with other tools so our developers can continue to update work items from Azure Devops and leadership gets live updates to their roadmaps. What do you dislike about Aha!?

These may be some deal breakers for some businesses and is standard functionality for competing solutions:

- Mass edits can be tricky, as you cannot edit across work item types. For example, one bulk edit cannot impact releases, epics, features and user stories. Instead, you have to make multiple bulk edits to accomplish your goals.

- Mandatory fields when creating work items are not truly 'mandatory.' After work item creation, you can just jump into the work item and immediately delete the value from a field that was required upon creation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Aha! Support Team Absolutely Rocks!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Aha!?

Aha! lets us track, plan, and organize our product development, as you'd expect. I could write a book about my experience using Ideas portals, setting up integrations and moving our planning over to Aha! But what I want to describe is the excellent support process and the wonderful people who've helped me over the years. To start, I couldn't believe there was a submit to an expert option in Aha! and I couldn't believe it would work.

It's so fabulous to get the quick responses, every single time. On top of that, there's really a team at Aha! If one person can't answer they bring in someone who can, or they figure out really quickly that there's a bug and send it to their dev team to resolve.

How much of a difference does this make? It's revolutionary. The Aha! support team are really part of my team. For other products, M*coughS*cough, feedback disappears and if you do happen to have a bug, you never know if or when it's resolved.

So to summarize, Aha!'s support model is outstanding, fantastic, and makes working with Aha! a breeze. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aha!?

Again, going on the support side, nothing really. On the product side, it's that there's so much possible with Ideas Portals and planning options, the learning curve is crushing. It's also easy to forget what you've done if you use it like I do, which is to set up new functionality for a few days or a week, train my team, and then leave it for months before making changes.
