The AHA model is based on best practice, and facilitates all aspects of Product Management, from Strategy, Customer Personas, Goals, and Roadmaps with the ability to present this data along with progress towards these goals to executive teams. The product seamlessly integrates with most cross-collaboration development platforms (Azure Dev Ops, Jira etc) so that updates from the development teams seamlessly flow into AHA and roll up to the corresponding initiatives and goals. **What do you dislike about Aha!?** We haven't found much we don't like about Aha in our current use cases, though we will continue to push the limits of the application as we expand across our organization. **What problems is Aha! solving and how is that benefiting you?** Presenting high-level ideas and progress to executive and sales team. Collaboration and Scoring of future features and aligning them with strategic goals. IE, nothing is developed unless it's tied to a key objective. ### 3. The flow of creating an idea is very easy and intuitive for users. The Sales, CS, and any client-facing teams can enter feature requests quickly. The Engineering and Product Teams seem to like using it as well to track feature requests as they move through the product roadmap. **What do you dislike about Aha!?** The search functionality seems to be lacking, and when you have a ton of feature requests as a company, it's hard to find ones that already exist to add more customers to the request. This causes problems because you end up having multiple of the same feature request created, and you can't tell how many customers have actually made the request. Also, then teams start working on a feature, it turns from an "idea" into a "feature". When this happens, you don't know where to add more customers to if they are requesting the feature before it is built and released. Do I add them to the idea or the feature? This adds to the complication of the search function too. **What problems is Aha! solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem that our company is trying to solve is having a single source of truth for feature requests and to organize a product roadmap that is accessible by most employees at the company ### 26. We use this information when planning our roadmaps for future releases. We also utilize the ability to integrate Aha! with Jira to allow updating information more easily. The tool was easy to configure and gives our customers a great place for collaboration with us and with each other. We are very pleased with the capabilities and we have seen growth in customer provided enhancement requests since we started to use Aha! **What do you dislike about Aha!?** Some of the tools to customize the displays for internal use could be better. For example when reviewing newly submitted ideas, we have not been able to get changes we have made to the view (adding fields) to stick, and have to re-apply those changes everytime we go in. **What problems is Aha! solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have provided our customers with a much more robust capability to share enhancements with us and each other than was previously available with other tools. If you have BIG ideas, Aha will probably work. The search is nother feature that I would call out. It is much better and quicker when compared to other products out there (like JIRA) and often gives me exactly what I am looking for using the filters on the side. **What do you dislike about Aha!?** The UI does not feel like its enterprise ready. Sometimes the color theme and related stuff do not align with an organization and it sadly stands out. **Recommendations to others considering Aha!:** If one is looking for a tool where they can manage a product throughout its complete lifecycle and quickly go through multiple other products without having to look at other applications, then this the only tool you will need. **What problems is Aha! solving and how is that benefiting you?** It solves a big problem for us wherein initiatives, goals and the sotry linkage between multiple products from different organization are now viewable from a single place. All of this used to be maintained in a powerpoint/excel and stored in a completely unrelevant place where users might not have access or will be difficult to search. It also helps keep all the team members about the project in which they are working and everyone's progress. It, although it tries to come with resource management but lacks flexibility and with all the related features. It is not designed well for standard PMP portfolio or program management and while it tries to accommodate resource management practices, it just doesn't offer the capabilities or flexibility of other tools, and still, that is an add-on for a big per license cost. I really like the aesthetic of the roadmaps the tool generates. **What do you dislike about Aha!?** There is a strong initial learning curve for the product; but once the team gets rolling, it becomes very effective. The templates for strategic vision, strategic models, positioning, personas, and competitors are easy to use and visually appealing. They are also suitably customizable (e.g., I created a "Lean Canvas + template for my strategic model). I also like the roadmap feature where you can place multiple workspaces with their goals and releases in one roadmap. It makes the roadmap easy to communicate to both senior leadership and the general corporate audience easy. **What do you dislike about Aha!?** The issue I've always had with Aha is the integration with development tools. The integration is what caused me to pass on Aha in the first run with my new company and go with a different tool. Another evaluation some months later showed some substantial improvements in the Aha / Jira integration, so we decided to switch to Aha. There are still some issues with integration, especially when we need to change the way some projects use Jira (e.g., we needed to change the states in Jira to better reflect how one project should be run, and it broke everything in Aha). I also have not used the idea portal because of issues in my previous experience with it (allowing external users to use the idea portal without letting the entire internet see it); however, I have asked someone to take a look into it to see if it will work better than our current process. **Recommendations to others considering Aha!:** The integration between Aha and Jira has improved substantially; however, it will not map 100% if you have customizations in Jira because Aha only gives you initiatives to epics and features to stories. If you use themes in Jira, there doesn't seem to be any mapping. If you're an organization that uses the Pragmatic Marketing framework, Aha ties in nicely. I find Aha user-friendly to the point that, if you're new to product management, you can easily create your strategy, define your user personas, and complete your competitor analysis without really knowing how to do it. **What problems is Aha! solving and how is that benefiting you?** Essentially, it is a great tool for product management. It seems to tie in nicely with the Pragmatic Marketing model that we use, so there is continuity of concepts. The primary benefit we've realized is the ability to communicate the roadmap throughout our organization. Because of the integrations with Atlassian products, we are able to put the roadmap into Confluence, which allows easy accessibility to all of our organization members. ### 47.
