I have been an Agility customer for two years. Until recently I was a happy customer. The tools are solid and the service has been reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Agility PR Solutions? I have been passed around between customer service reps over the last couple of months. I never even got a formal introduction to my new service representative. She reached out with an email about renewing my service and that was the first I had heard from her. Because I did not get back to her by some arbitrary and confusing deadline, I just learned that my account will auto-renew without my consent and I will be forced to pay for seats on the account that I don't want, and cannot afford! On top of that, I have moved many of my clients over to Agility's press release wire service, News Direct. I have brought them a lot of revenue by referring clients to them. Earlier this week, News Direct leaked a client's press release ahead of the wire date. My client discovered it before we did. We were mortified and reached out to Agility right away. They were able to get the release taken down, but we almost lost the client. Agility did nothing to make this right, except say "sorry." They went into total "cover your ass" mode. In 20 years of doing PR, I have never had a wire service leak a release, never mind act so casually about it. I was appalled. I would like someone at Agility to get in touch with me ASAP to remedy this. I reached out to my customer service rep and got an Out of Office reply! This is unacceptable. Agility is ultimately a great system to use to keep all of your PR activity in one handy location - from your contact lists, to mention tracking and of course, your releases. I like the features to discover new contacts by interest and by organisation, plus being able to monitor opens and clicks from your releases. Sometimes Agility PR can be a bit too international/American - as a small charity based in the UK, we're not using all of the features like a big brand would. Having a system to schedule releases and track who has engaged with them is also really helpful rather than doing it manually. Agility is helpful for finding journalist information but also being able to track coverage internationally from specific press releases - the tool to filter out some parts of coverage is also very helpful to cut through the noise with bigger clients who recieve wide coverage. Additionally the easily exportable graphics for coverage make life easy when presenting to clients in a susinct and engaging manor. Though the journalist information is at a good level, at times there is often missing contact information or smaller outlets aren't picked up so there are no contact details available on your platform. The platform alows for quick and easy searching, capturing a significantly higher percentage of coverage whilst providing data on readership and locations. The biggest issue we continue to have is cutting off long broadcast clips. These longer clips are usually the most important ones that we want to highlight to management so it can be frustrating to not be able to access and edit them right away. Also, the media briefing component is pretty difficult to use and customize. I have refined my searches over months of use and it truly catches just about everything I'm looking for. My team has been sending more frequent media reports to our clients because it no longer takes hours and hours to hunt everything down. Occasionally, it will not find a hit that should be very obvious (for example, a local TV station will have a package online that Agility will find during the actual broadcast, but did not find the link -- even though the story text also lives online). We have previously not had a consistent, easy-to-understand way to measure media hits. Other software was either more difficult to use, or did not find the number of hits we felt it should find. Agililty has done a really good job of making me more aware of my company as well as my client's companies. It gives me a better understanding of what kind of coverage we have, what is trending, and what is popular at the moment. The media monitoring tool is very easy to use and implement within my team. Another tool we like to utilize is the newswire tool. It helps us create these media releases and add content as well. It has made generaging these releases that much faster. Our clients like the fast turnaround as well. We have not needed to reach out to customer support, but I know where to reach them if I need to. It is also a brilliant and easy-to-use tool to scan media coverage, finding articles that are missed when using other search engines such as Google and it has the ability to filter out words, saving time. I use Agility PR Solutions mulitple times a day and it has become instrumental to my work. Great training programmes when you first sign up and offers for continuous support.
