Almost to an annoying level... their team is constant communication and give you many ways to reach out. **What do you dislike about Agility PR Solutions?** It's much harder to maneuver than Muck Rack, Cision, and Meltwater. One of the most common uses of this software is to pull information and enter it into an excel sheet. This has proven SO DIFFICULT. Even highlighting to copy and paste is hard sometimes. This wasn't used by someone who makes media lists. **Recommendations to others considering Agility PR Solutions:** Honestly, just choose something else. Muck Rack is less than $100 more a month and it is a MILLION times better. **What problems is Agility PR Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am starting the PR division of the small business I'm part of. I had to get a program ASAP and the month-to-month payment option is what led me to land on Agility. In the past, I have worked as a PR professional for large agencies and have used all the major solutions - Cision, Meltwater, etc. This doesn't measure up at all. I will be cancelling after this first month then switching to Muck Rack (by far my favorite). **Official Response from Agility Marketing:** > I'm sorry you're unhappy with your experience. It sounds like your primary issue is with exporting data. In order to comply with privacy regulations like GDPR, we have to restrict the export of our contact data (exporting lists, copy/pasting data) and that is why you have found that difficult. Instead we offer multiple options for outreach to journalists within the platform (this is included in the cost of your subscription). Plus when you use Agility to do your media outreach, you get a report outlining who opened or clicked on your emails or press release - which is helpful for follow up. The online search capabilities is a useful tool. It is also convenient that it keeps a records of tweets/news articles for 2 years. It is overall, a useful public environment analysis tool. **What do you dislike about Agility PR Solutions?** Twitter searching capabilities are not specific enough and using manual search options can be tedious. Not being able to upload your own monitoring content easily for Twitter (must prepare in excel spreadsheet and send to Agility PR rep). Quote function is not the most reliable either. - for news articles. Manually adding the tone for articles is also tedious. Also, not being able to collect keyword date, unless previously submitted and approved, is quite inconvenient. It would be useful if it worked more like twitter in that way, being able to retrieve old tweets, hashtags (that were not previously submitted for record keeping) would improve the experience. **Recommendations to others considering Agility PR Solutions:** Book an intro session for all employees using the software, it was very helpful. I would also recommend scheduling a tutorial on the many tools available for Media Monitoring, its very informative and will allow you to best utilize Agility to your need. We use agility to archive news stories and to track social media trends (keyword based). it is useful for keeping track of public environment trends and stats. ### 13. The support team is excellent, and I've never encountered an issue that couldn't be quickly resolved. The ability to provide competitor reports to clients has also been indespensible. **What do you dislike about Agility PR Solutions?** There is a steep price to add print monitoring to an already high price tag. The platform's appearance feels a bit dated. I also like that it asks for confirmation before sending or scheduling an email outreach, as when using one of Agility's competitors, it was easy to accidentally hit send before the email was ready to send to reporters. **What do you dislike about Agility PR Solutions?** I wish there were more topics to refine the lists. For example, having the option to select journalists who write about "environmental education" and "outdoor education" would save us a lot of time at Outward Bound Canada. **What problems is Agility PR Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?** Outward Bound Canada does many cool things and has lots of compelling stories to tell, but they didn't get any attention without a good PR service. So if you don't remember within month 9, and why would you, to cancel then you get renewed for another 12 months. 30 Day cancellation sure but 90 days on 12 months felt like it was so that customers don't realize in time to avoid a second year. We don't have a regular use for the platform but it doesn't provide for month to month billing and so we end up paying for something that is now not used. Horrible employees. Shady sales people. Bad Data. **What do you dislike about Agility PR Solutions?** I have had many issues with Agility from fraudulent data to up their numbers to nightmare employees that don't care about anything besides locking suckers into contracts for their crap database. I have complained numerous times about their fraudulent data and they don't care at all. Not only that, I have tried to negotiate my price down if I paid in full because they locked me into a contract. Their finance person said I could not get a discount if paid in full but changed my statement to the full years price anyways. I spoke with the sales manager who told me they would return my payments to monthly and they never did. On Christmas eve they attempted to pull thousands of dollars from my Wells Fargo account multiple times. I never received any communications that they would do this and it was not approved of. Agility sold me their database over the phone based on numbers that they could not prove exist. When I asked if I could explore the platform before deciding to purchase they told me "due to data security they couldn't allow me to, but I could do a skype run through with the salesperson." This makes sense but it would be extremely difficult if not impossible to understand the credibility of their data through a skype run-through with a salesperson. Coming from Cision I though the industry norm was that email distributions were not limited. Not in Agility. They limit emails to 25,000. After fighting with Agility over this they finally agreed to give me 1,000,000 emails that they first put in a contract but voided so this agreement wouldn't be on paper. They then went against our agreement and limited the emails. I sent a few pitches out of Agility and the results I got were horrible. Sending the same pitch through Cision provided 10X + the results. Getting into a contract with them has been by far the worst business decision I have ever made.
