The need to rely on this data set creates an inflexible tool that fails to meet operational requirements for any highly public organization. UI is also unintuitive and Boolean search functionality lacks the ability to effectively refine results. **What problems is Agility PR Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?** Agility is supposed to allow our organization to effectively monitor online sentiment and conversations on social media. This allows our organization to flag emerging issues for the department as well as our clients, prepare communications lines and action. However, as the tool is not forward facing, it becomes impossible to search for new and emerging issues not covered by these pre-arranged searches which leaves the organization operationally blind. **Official Response from Agility Marketing:** > Thank you for sharing this feedback. Fake media contacts and a service that doesn’t deliver. **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2025 **What do you like best about Agility PR Solutions?** Unfortunatelly i can find anything that I like as all the easy to use features are not working at the end. **What do you dislike about Agility PR Solutions?** My colleague signed this contract, and despite my feedback expressing hesitation about continuing, it was carried over without consideration. Each month, we fail to locate 60–80% of key publications from major outlets and YouTubers. For over six months, I’ve been told to manually send the missing publications to their team so they can "fix" the platform, but the issue persists. This has forced my team to spend 2–3 hours daily assisting Agility in correcting their service—on top of paying for it. They even claim it’s acceptable to miss such a significant volume of publications and insist the contract cannot be terminated. Additionally, I attempted to send a press release through their platform, and only 1 out of 200 contacts responded. This platform is poorly executed and designed to take advantage of companies. Avoid it at all costs. **What problems is Agility PR Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?** This platform was supposed to make Media monitoring easier but instead, nothing works. Until recently I was a happy customer. The tools are solid and the service has been reliable. **What do you dislike about Agility PR Solutions?** I have been passed around between customer service reps over the last couple of months. I never even got a formal introduction to my new service representative. She reached out with an email about renewing my service and that was the first I had heard from her. Because I did not get back to her by some arbitrary and confusing deadline, I just learned that my account will auto-renew without my consent and I will be forced to pay for seats on the account that I don't want, and cannot afford! On top of that, I have moved many of my clients over to Agility's press release wire service, News Direct. I have brought them a lot of revenue by referring clients to them. Earlier this week, News Direct leaked a client's press release ahead of the wire date. My client discovered it before we did. We were mortified and reached out to Agility right away. They were able to get the release taken down, but we almost lost the client. Agility did nothing to make this right, except say "sorry." They went into total "cover your ass" mode. In 20 years of doing PR, I have never had a wire service leak a release, never mind act so casually about it. I was appalled. I would like someone at Agility to get in touch with me ASAP to remedy this. I reached out to my customer service rep and got an Out of Office reply! This is unacceptable. **What problems is Agility PR Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?** Right now... NONE. Long Term Contracts Not Necessary **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2022 **What do you like best about Agility PR Solutions?** Team noted that with sufficient time and effort there is a relatively usefull database for outreach. **What do you dislike about Agility PR Solutions?** Requires long-term contracts (12 mo) AND a 90 day cancellation period. So if you don't remember within month 9, and why would you, to cancel then you get renewed for another 12 months. 30 Day cancellation sure but 90 days on 12 months felt like it was so that customers don't realize in time to avoid a second year. We don't have a regular use for the platform but it doesn't provide for month to month billing and so we end up paying for something that is now not used. We'll make a second effort to utilize in 2023 since we're paying for it but would rather pay for it on a month to month or even quarterly basis as it fits our outreach needs. **What problems is Agility PR Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?** Media outreach and distribution. **Official Response from Joy Knowles:** > Thank you for your feedback. Horrible employees. Shady sales people. Bad Data. **What do you dislike about Agility PR Solutions?** I have had many issues with Agility from fraudulent data to up their numbers to nightmare employees that don't care about anything besides locking suckers into contracts for their crap database. I have complained numerous times about their fraudulent data and they don't care at all. Not only that, I have tried to negotiate my price down if I paid in full because they locked me into a contract. Their finance person said I could not get a discount if paid in full but changed my statement to the full years price anyways. I spoke with the sales manager who told me they would return my payments to monthly and they never did. On Christmas eve they attempted to pull thousands of dollars from my Wells Fargo account multiple times. I never received any communications that they would do this and it was not approved of. Agility sold me their database over the phone based on numbers that they could not prove exist. When I asked if I could explore the platform before deciding to purchase they told me "due to data security they couldn't allow me to, but I could do a skype run through with the salesperson." This makes sense but it would be extremely difficult if not impossible to understand the credibility of their data through a skype run-through with a salesperson. Coming from Cision I though the industry norm was that email distributions were not limited. Not in Agility. They limit emails to 25,000. After fighting with Agility over this they finally agreed to give me 1,000,000 emails that they first put in a contract but voided so this agreement wouldn't be on paper. They then went against our agreement and limited the emails. I sent a few pitches out of Agility and the results I got were horrible. Sending the same pitch through Cision provided 10X + the results. Getting into a contract with them has been by far the worst business decision I have ever made. Don't be fooled by their responses here or the positive reviews, they do not care about their clients and if you have issues they will never be resolved. **Recommendations to others considering Agility PR Solutions:** Please Don't **What problems is Agility PR Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?** Agility has only caused me numerous problems and a loss of thousands of dollars ### 7. Almost to an annoying level... their team is constant communication and give you many ways to reach out. **What do you dislike about Agility PR Solutions?** It's much harder to maneuver than Muck Rack, Cision, and Meltwater. One of the most common uses of this software is to pull information and enter it into an excel sheet. This has proven SO DIFFICULT. Even highlighting to copy and paste is hard sometimes. This wasn't used by someone who makes media lists. **Recommendations to others considering Agility PR Solutions:** Honestly, just choose something else. Muck Rack is less than $100 more a month and it is a MILLION times better. **What problems is Agility PR Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am starting the PR division of the small business I'm part of. I had to get a program ASAP and the month-to-month payment option is what led me to land on Agility. In the past, I have worked as a PR professional for large agencies and have used all the major solutions - Cision, Meltwater, etc. This doesn't measure up at all. I will be cancelling after this first month then switching to Muck Rack (by far my favorite). **Official Response from Agility Marketing:** > I'm sorry you're unhappy with your experience. It sounds like your primary issue is with exporting data. In order to comply with privacy regulations like GDPR, we have to restrict the export of our contact data (exporting lists, copy/pasting data) and that is why you have found that difficult. Instead we offer multiple options for outreach to journalists within the platform (this is included in the cost of your subscription). Plus when you use Agility to do your media outreach, you get a report outlining who opened or clicked on your emails or press release - which is helpful for follow up. The online search capabilities is a useful tool. It is also convenient that it keeps a records of tweets/news articles for 2 years. It is overall, a useful public environment analysis tool. **What do you dislike about Agility PR Solutions?** Twitter searching capabilities are not specific enough and using manual search options can be tedious. Not being able to upload your own monitoring content easily for Twitter (must prepare in excel spreadsheet and send to Agility PR rep). Quote function is not the most reliable either. - for news articles. Manually adding the tone for articles is also tedious. Also, not being able to collect keyword date, unless previously submitted and approved, is quite inconvenient. It would be useful if it worked more like twitter in that way, being able to retrieve old tweets, hashtags (that were not previously submitted for record keeping) would improve the experience. **Recommendations to others considering Agility PR Solutions:** Book an intro session for all employees using the software, it was very helpful. I would also recommend scheduling a tutorial on the many tools available for Media Monitoring, its very informative and will allow you to best utilize Agility to your need. The staff has always been very helpful with questions and when additional support is needed. **What problems is Agility PR Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?** Main function is for Media analysis. We use agility to archive news stories and to track social media trends (keyword based). it is useful for keeping track of public environment trends and stats. ### 9.
