SpotProcure builds software for spot buying: the urgent, one-off purchases that sit outside contracts and catalogues. A machine breaks down, a project needs parts by Friday, a site runs short of safety stock. In most companies a spot buy still runs on email and Excel. One purchase can take 12 to 20 emails: the request, supplier reminders, quotes in different formats copied into a sheet, a comparison, manager approval, a re-quote, final approval and the award. Information is scattered across inboxes, and an audit later means digging through threads. Our product, Agent Bid, puts the whole spot buy in one place. - Upload items from Excel or type them in, and send one request for quotation to every supplier. - Suppliers quote from a private link with no login, even from a phone. Reminders go out automatically. - Every quote lands on one comparison page, with savings against your target worked out as you go. - Award line by line, or re-quote one line with the same or new suppliers without starting again. - Managers approve in one click, and award emails go to the winners and the rest. - Finance checks the savings before they count, and every action is logged for audit.
