The visitor journey, heatmaps, SEO data, and ecommerce tracking are really useful because it’s not just showing traffic numbers, it helps you see where people are engaging, where they drop off, and what needs to be improved. It has a lot of useful data, but some parts take time to understand if you’re new to analytics tools. I also feel the pricing may not be ideal for very small businesses or individual users. I appreciate AFS Analytics for being purpose-built for GDPR-focused small German financial consultancies like ours, striking the perfect balance between compliance, simplicity, and targeted B2B lead tracking that mainstream analytics tools cannot match. Its native, ready-to-use data privacy toolkit stands out above everything else, eliminating constant compliance worries and tedious backend maintenance. I love its streamlined, lead-centric reporting that cuts out useless consumer-focused metrics irrelevant to our B2B financial consulting work. AFS prioritizes actionable signals like repeat visits to our corporate tax planning pages, download rates for financial advisory whitepapers, and form completion rates for client consultation sign-ups. I also value its seamless lightweight integration with our existing stack, allowing easy tracing of financial newsletter effectiveness in pushing prospects to book advisory sessions through Eyeson One View. Additionally, the interface is intuitive and requires zero steep learning curves, allowing team members new to analytics to pull conversion insights independently. I find its lightweight, privacy-compliant tracking, which is GDPR/CCPA aligned, to be extremely effective. The segmented real-time visitor reporting and native e-commerce integration capabilities, which sync seamlessly with platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, and custom storefronts, are also incredibly valuable. While real-time segmentation is user-friendly, the tool lacks multi-condition layered filtering. I can only apply one primary filter at a time for audience splits, which means I can't stack multiple conditions together. Additionally, saved custom dashboards don't support automated scheduled email delivery, and I have to manually export and share reports weekly. The custom event tracking is also limited. It supports standard events but setting up custom ones is rigid. For tracking specific onsite interactions like video play progress or multi-step form submissions, it's restricted to simple triggers. Also, attaching custom metadata requires extra developer scripting, making it cumbersome for unique micro-conversions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. I rely on AFS Analytics for GDPR-compliant tracking that doesn't need IT support, solving data privacy issues and providing lead-centric reporting tailored for financial consulting.
