"Unbelievable product: the future of research"
5/5
What do you like best about Logically?

Afforai magine Zotero, and an AI assistant in one. That's Afforai, but it's even more amazing than that, if you think about it also as a repository for all of your research. This covers:

Citation

Research

Organising

And its use-cases are much more than that. But I have to be honest also, Tier 1 (on the App Sumo lifetime deal) is okay, but this product isn't worth it unless you get Tier 2. In fact, its the only Tier 2 product I've bought on here. Let me give you an example, I was reading a paper on "narrative interviewing", and the paper provided detailed instructions but it was difficult for me to visualise what a narrative interview looked like. I then made a comment using the Afforai notebook, asking Azure GPT 3.5 to explain it to me. It failed. I then asked Azure GPT 4o to do it, and not only did it accurately show me what a narrative interview looked like, but it made up a whole scenario with speaker one and two. Sometimes authors drop a date or event, and you don't know what they're talking about. Afforai helps with that too. You can read, highlight, annotate, get an AI summary, within the AI notebook. Then you can call up your Research Assistant, and ask it draw connections between all of the papers you've read. Want to share your knowledge on social media, or design an online course, it can do that too.

You can also do entirely other stuff. Get a transcript of your podcast, and put it into Afforai, and it will draw out the key insights. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Logically?

A desktop App would be great too. Things on the cloud can scare me sometimes. Imagine writing an entire PhD and relying on their servers. It's a scary thought if anything were to happen to Afforai (but this is an incredible product, that prospect feels unlikely). Things like Obsidian which entirely rely on markdown, or scrivener which downloads onto your own computer, provide the peace of mind that Afforai just doesn't yet. "Create Curated Knowledge Based Chatbots"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Logically?

I've collected a number of industry-specific ebooks over the years, many of which I have yet to finish reading. This tool lets me curate knowledge from these ebooks via a custom chatbot. The chatbot even cross-references multiple documents (and through Google if you wish) at once and provides citations. Pretty cool! If you are like me and have digital resources that you would like to reference and interact with, this is a great tool for you! The customer support has also been fantastic. They are open to feedback as well as helpful over email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Logically?

As with most AI-based tools, the outputs are only as good as the prompts given. Occasionally, the answers given by the AI are not helpful and it can feel like a waste of credits when that happens.

EDIT: Now Afforai offers unlimited credits for inquiries and a HUGE update to how it operates, introducing Notebook features and shareable libraries. Worth it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"This app has been a real lifesaver"
5/5
What do you like best about Logically?

The learning curve is really short. You can start using it in very little time. The implementation is super fast and simple.

I am constantly learning new features of the platform, but with what I have learned so far, my work has already been greatly simplified. I was not used to this type of tool because I always did the research work manually, and the truth is that it has greatly facilitated my life.

Two pieces of advice I can give are, on one hand, to consult the Afforai Facebook group because the community there shares resources and suggestions to make the most of the tool. I have learned a lot from the feedback that other users share in the community.

Secondly, I suggest experimenting a lot at the beginning to get a feel for the tool.

I’m using it more and more every month.

Customer support is also very good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Logically?

So far i like the tool. I would apreciate more tutorials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Mixed feelings"
3/5
What do you like best about Logically?

The fact that it integrates research database with potentially the potentiality of AI in looking for some new papers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Logically?

This is still however not working at its best. I have asked to individuate papers on a well defined subject and it didnt do it. Also I have asked to write a statement about new perspectives and directions of a specific subject, and it was extremely hard to get a meaningful response. Also, I have tried to upload a RIS file, trying to export my library from another reference manager software... and it is taking hours and hours to do so. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"What a time saver!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Logically?

It's great that I can connect an RFP (proposal), upload our generic bid, and have Afforai answer the proposal questions with information from my generic bid. I then have to modify a few items to make sure they conform to the proposal format, and I'm done. What used to take hours/days now takes minutes. When I had questions about something, they were answered in less than 24 hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Logically?

It is probably not the software but more my prompts, but sometimes I have to ask twice to get a good answer, especially on lengthy documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Practical and fast experience"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Logically?

It doesnt matter the language of any file that I uploaded to this site, i uploded files in many languages and asked the Afforai to give me answers in specific language, and the result was amazing, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Logically?

When ask Afforai some questions about uploaded file, then ask him about references of given answer, he gives me kind of good reference, but not too precise, i want him to give me the exact page and exact paragraph, so you can work more on this point to give the users accurate and precise answers about refernces. That just happening when the file type is ocr & arabic language Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best software on line to manage research and use chat bot for Teacher"
5/5
What do you like best about Logically?

A lot of Video to explain how it works, very easy to manage and handle, the number of source or quote is huge.

How to centralize your source information: pdf, url... how to annotate them and ask questions (like chatgpt) inside to manage the all information and sort the information out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Logically?

Nothing for the moment, I am preparing my lessons as a teacher assistant. Thanks to Afforai, it will be easier Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A tool for transforming documentation overload into clarity - Highly recommended"
5/5
What do you like best about Logically?

As someone constantly inundated with volumes of documentation, finding a way to streamline and make sense of all the information was essential. Afforai is the solution that has not only simplified my workload but has also elevated my productivity to new heights.

I'm an environmental consultant and for me dealing with extensive and often dense documentation is a daily occurrence. The need to extract relevant information quickly was becoming a time-consuming task especially in recent time, when the clients whant everything in no-time.

Afforai came to the rescue with its advanced summarization capabilities. The AI's ability to process and distill large volumes of text into concise, coherent summaries is impressive.

Above all the possibility to ask question about the documentation content, like you asked an expert who just finished reading (studing) everything.

Of course you have to double-check every piece of information (to be on the safe-side), but still, this tool allows you to save a lot of time.

Also the customer support is very efficient since it provided software updates in no time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Logically?

Untill now there is nothing I dislike.

The only issues are connected to the AI engines (sometimes you have to work on finding the correct prompt) but that is not depending from the Afforai software, which is indeed very user friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
