"Cheaper alternative to Adobe"
5/5
What do you like best about Affinity Designer?

From the makers of Adobe Photoshop and Indesign, so the overall interface is very similar and easy to use. It can intregate seamless with Designer and Photo software. It is very cost effective with just a one off payment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Affinity Designer?

Even though it is very similar to Indesign some of the features are different and the shortcuts take time to get use to moving from Adobe but not enough to put you off.

The only downside is that it do not have the ability to create interactive PDFs like Indesign Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Alternative for Adobe Illustrato"
5/5
What do you like best about Affinity Designer?

Affinity Designer has an intuitive and user-friendly interface, making it easy for beginners and experienced designers to navigate seamlessly. The tool's affordability, especially in contrast to the Adobe Suite, is a significant advantage. As someone who transitioned to Affinity Designer due to changes in Adobe's subscription model, the cost-effectiveness of Affinity has been a key factor in my continued usage Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Affinity Designer?

While Affinity Designer offers a user-friendly experience, there is a slight learning curve, especially for those familiar with tools like Illustrator. The interface is intuitive, but users may need some time to fully adapt.

Another consideration is the occasional compatibility issue with Adobe files. While Affinity Designer supports various file formats, the seamless opening of Adobe files can sometimes be less smooth. This can be a minor inconvenience when working in a collaborative environment or when handling files from Adobe users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly Effective Editing Workhouse"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Affinity Designer?

Affinity Photo is a top of the line editing solution that can be easily benchmarked with any other pro software like Photoshop in terms of major functionality and features. It's also much affordable with one-time plans instead of expensive monthly subscriptions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Affinity Designer?

The only thing I dislike a bit about Affinity Photo is the learning curve, once you switch from any other pro editing software, but once you're efficient in Affinity Photo, there's no going back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great, easy to use!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Affinity Designer?

Intuitive and user friendly, It didn't take me long (with no knowledge of adobe or anything) to use affinity in a way that suited my needs. If I had any issues, there are many tuturials online that are easy to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Affinity Designer?

Sometimes when using this product, a button or setting gets bumped and it is very hard to find out what happened and how to fix it. Maybe an "are you sure" pop up screen would be helpful in those circumstances. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Affinity Designer?

It covers the vast majority of our phot editing needs at a fraction of the cost of other alternatives Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Affinity Designer?

Affinity is missing a few higher end features of its more expensive competitors, and isn't 100% compatible from a prepress standpoint, but it's SO close that barely matters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This programme has no drawbacks. I haven't encountered any bugs at all, and Affinity Designer meets all of my needs and then some. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly Competitive Photoshop Alternative"
4/5
What do you like best about Affinity Designer?

Affinity Photo is a wonderful tool for doing professional edits unlike most common editing software. It offers a power-packed solution with easy to use and undertsand structure. It offers a great workflow across devices. I've used it multiple times for the purpose of graphics, mockup editing, and similar concepts. Affinity also comes in a one-time payment offering. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Affinity Designer?

User interface could be made to similar to other editors to accomodate new users coming to Affinity and the ability to customize the UI to it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Solid Contender in Desktop Publishing"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Affinity Designer?

It provides useful desktop publishing tools at a more budget-friendly, purchase once price compared to something like Adobe InDesign which locks you into a never ending subscription model. The basics of operating the software are easy to pick up and implement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Affinity Designer?

Affinity Publisher is not as widely used as the Adobe program. As a result there are less learning resources available from the smaller community. You can also run into some compatibility issues with people that are used to doing everything with Adobe. That's not an unfixable problem but it can be annoying. "Amazing & affordable software for Vector graphics"

What do you like best about Affinity Designer?

The best thing about Affinity Designer is that it doesn't come with a subscription model; you just have to pay for it once, and that, too, is very affordable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Affinity Designer?

I can't find anything to dislike about Affinity Designer. It's a robust graphic design tool with a one-time payment model, making it accessible. Its feature-rich interface and versatility meet the needs of various design projects, ensuring a positive user experience without notable drawbacks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
