What do you like best about Affinitext?

It has all the information I need that has been uploaded by my employer so I don't need to look elsewhere for executed documents and plans. Hyperlinks are useful too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Affinitext?

No search option within the documents so have to spend hours searching for documents in folders; I have to submit a text message code every time I log in which is exhausting because sometimes the text messages don't come. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hi there, search is a core function of Intelligent Document Format.

The IDF contracts in the library are most definitely searchable, both at an individual level, and more broadly across entire folders in an instant. The only instance where you might not be finding them searchable would be if you are looking at documents that have been attached in their original formats only.

What do you like best about Affinitext?

The capacity to make reference across multiple documents and to summarise your findings. The sources and definitions of terms and the table of contents are excellent and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Affinitext?

The "Analysis Tracks" report is not easy to read and doesn't allow you to put several excerpts from the document in the same note. Each quote is numbered differently Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Affinitext?

As a Deputy Contract Performance Manager, Affinitext gives me the ability to review, search and easily find points within the contract when we recieve a challenge from our client. With the ability to click on key words to understand what they mean within the contract and also reference the clauses means that when responding I am not only able to reference the contract but ellaborate further with ease. What do you dislike about Affinitext?

The least helpful item I can find out Affintext is the amout of emails it can generate, such as logging on and also the task reporting updates can sometimes be a frustration rather than helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hi Adam, thanks so much for your review - it is much appreciated! We're definitely mindful about the number of emails that the system generates. With regard to the login emails, can I suggest you contact your account manager or support@affinitext.com to enquire about having your IP address whitelisted? This will lead to fewer login email for you.

What do you like best about Affinitext?

Definition linkage and linking to definitions within definitions.

The search feature within the selected folder is useful.

What do you dislike about Affinitext?

- Once or twice the system has been down when I needed it. If it is planned, this should be very clearly emailed ahead of time. If unplanned, ideally there should be a backup system so that documents can still be accessed.

- When searching using quotation marks, sometimes I miss the first or last quotation mark and there is a search error. The system should recognize what I am trying to search and remove quotation marks with a message like "Did you forget quotation marks?"

- I get an email every single time I login to Affinitext. I should only get this if I login on an unrecognized device Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In relation to any system downtime, this is almost always done outside the business hours of the affected region. From time to time this might creep into business hours. If this has been the case for you, please accept our apologies for the inconvenience. Downtime is communicated through the news item upon login.

In relation to your comment about the login emails, can I suggest that you contact our support@affinitext.com inbox requesting that your IP address be whitelisted? This will address that issue for you! Thanks again.

What do you like best about Affinitext?

I like the speed in which you can use the application. The task manager when utilised also ensures that you heirachy have assurances that the contrcat is being applied correctly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Affinitext?

It is only as good as the information that it currently holds. There is no indicator of the last updates of the information and only having 1 upload per year deems that the contract held will not be the most recent version Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hi Kevin and thank you very much for your review! We're pleased that you like the tool, and you are absolutely correct about the importance of the library being kept up to date. Our Page Packs commercial model allows clients to upload updates to the library as often as they wish throughout the year. If the annual amendment package for your license isn't frequent enough to reflect the changes to your library, please contact your account manager, as they would love to discuss this with you further! What do you like best about Affinitext?

Ability to analyze deep links, to more rapidly conduct a contract analysis and solve contractual problems. The ability to simply click a definition and be taken there is the most compelling aspect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Affinitext?

A major downside is the delays taken to update affinitext when contracts are changed and revised. The speed of updating affinitext can result in not using affinitext for extended periods of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hi there and thank you very much for your review, it is much appreciated. With regard to updating the library and amendment turnaround, typically we implement changes in short order. However, this is of course subject to our taking receipt of the updates as early as possible following their execution. To that end, we strongly encourage our clients to add us to their distribution channels for amendments and the like, so that we are prompted to discuss changes with clients when they are made. Should you find that an amendment has been made but is not available in the library, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team who will be very happy to follow up. Thanks again!

What do you like best about Affinitext?

Searchable documents make following contractual links very easy to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Affinitext?

The summary of remaining tasks to complete in the month. I don't find this particularly user-friendly. This could be improved by simply showing the tasks to be completed rather than a list of all tasks. (This is how my screen is currently set up). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Affinitext?

Easy to use based on the selection boxes. The available training resources were also very useful and easy to follow. The functionality within the program is also helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Affinitext?

There should be a classification based on highlighting onerous clauses within the software.

When analysis tracking the notes box is too small,.

When analysis tracking the names for contracts are too small.

Just a quick note on Notes - you can view all notes in a given contract by clicking on the Notes tab, which will display them in clause-order. Equally, you can view all of the Notes you have access to across an entire project or even portfolio of projects, by clicking on the Notes Summary Report.

What do you like best about Affinitext?

It is easy to navigate, it is well laid out and well structured. The search function is useful although it doesn't always work very well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It seems better recently but it times out after a short period of inactivity. The search function would be useful if there was a preview of the results since it can be hard to find certain documents/referencec Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thank you for your review. To clarify, the security logout occurs after four hours of inactivity.

You can absolutely see a preview of your search results - when using the search on the library homepage, you can use the "+" expansion button next to any of the search results to see a full preview of that clause, with your search term hits highlighted throughout. Likewise you can filter out the documents using the dropdown menu in the "Books" tab of the search results.
