It is built around each operator's operations and company procedures, so the FDM programme follows the way the operator actually flies. How it works With a wireless QAR, flight data starts leaving the aircraft on the landing roll; otherwise the operator uploads the FDR or QAR file. AeroSight normalizes the recorder format, detects the flight legs, converts parameters to engineering units and screens every flight for exceedances, so reviewable events reach the analyst within minutes. Every leg carries its METAR weather, the published procedures from the AIRAC cycle in force, and the resolved airport and runway. Event detection defined by the operator The operator's Event Definition Sheet (EDS) lives in the platform, with thresholds and confirmation durations per severity, set per aircraft and, where it matters, per airport and runway. Every change can be signed off by a second person before it takes effect, and every earlier version stays on record. Every flight open to review in 3D Analysts go from an event to the exact second it happened in a 3D replay over terrain, a 2D map or a cockpit view, with a multi-parameter flight trace alongside and export to Google Earth. Readout, exceedance, data-quality and parameter-check reports, custom and scheduled reports, and programme-health KPIs aligned to EASA's EOFDM guidance show how the programme is performing. Beyond the safety office Pilot Performance, Engine Condition Monitoring (ECM reports in the format read by CFM SAGE, currently for CFM56 and V2500 engines), Fuel Efficiency, ADS-B Fleet Coverage and optional Live Fleet Monitoring work from the same recorder data. Integrations include Leon Software, Avionica avSYNC, TrustFlight Centrik 5 and SafeJets. Compliance and security AeroSight FDM runs in a browser on Microsoft Azure, so operators need no IT infrastructure of their own, and roles follow the named access the operator's information security policy requires. It supports FDM and FOQA requirements under ICAO Annex 6, EASA (EU 965/2012), FAA AC 120-82 and UK CAA CAP 739 as part of a Safety Management System, with an exportable audit trail. AeroSight Ltd. is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2022. AeroSight has run flight data monitoring since 2016. Today it serves 100+ operators across 40+ aircraft types, processes 40,000 flights a month and has processed more than 1.5 million flights in total. AeroSight FDM v2 was released on 5 October 2026.
