Recommendations to others considering Engagement Manager:
You want the issue?
While you are clunking around in administrative time providing Beta feedback to Thomson Reuters, you are not billing your clients for professional services.
The sales people will always sell you on the features they want to provide, and how it will save you time, money, and effort. It should be a red flag if you ask a question about a supposed feature and the answer is "it's under development." Especially when the feature magically works on the demonstration being promoted.
This product is horrible. When you are in a little bubble, where there are no phone calls, staff meetings and interruptions, and you never have to get up to eat food or go to the bathroom, this product might work out for you.
It's analogous to a game of "Operation" back in the day. You must consider every single action, click as precise, because one misstep will cause the buzzer to go off and next thing you know you just lost all your work.
The price of the product doesn't really matter when you have to spend all your time and effort to develop processes and procedures for product features that don't work, doesn't work as intended, is a feature for a future development.
